Once you hand in your faulty phone, you will get your replacement within 2 weeks. Try Maxis KLCC they usually have stock for replacement and you can have it replaced within 2 hours. No, they do not provide a temporary replacement phone for your comfort.

Wow 10 working days.. I Was wondering do they give you a replacement phone for the time being because the stupid simcard is a microsim and i dont have another iphone 4 to use as backup thats why ive not send it back for warranty yet!
*
nope , for my case no. i need to use back my old 3g. the worse part is the 3g having problem with micro sim adapter. u need to be careful to remove it later.

the 2nd year warranty by maxis only ? surely maxis gotta go back to apple for repair since they can't repair the phone themselves or hired a 3rd party ? so there's no different for 1st year and 2nd year warranty ?

As an information, i serviced mine recently and all they did (according to my friend) was to clean up the home button (due to dust). Its working perfectly now. Not part changes. No faulty hardware. Nothing. Only dust.

Got it done within an hour instead of waiting for a replacement from DiGi smile.gif

Clean up home button? I think they would have replaced the home flex because there is nothing can be cleaned inbetween the membrane switch. This is how the it looks.

i think maxis have a 'healthy' stock of refurbished phone for warranty replacement compares to the other 2 telcos.

i got the same problem but sometime ok and sometime the button just won't work. latest incident the home button won't work at all for 2 days. then, all of the sudden, ok already. what should i do? should i send it for warranty right away or should i wait for the button to kaput again?
