DIGI is just taking the easy way out. there's no such thing as 100% failure then can change. definitely not from Apple. you have the right to change if it's NOT normal. You just have to make your stand on this.

I'm just curious where they send it back to ? Singapore ? coz Singapore got awefully lots of refurbished set available. I just changed mine (in Sg) yesterday (warranty left 3 days rclxms.gif ) and it's done within 30mins. Which bring back to the point, why get local set when you can have a Sg set which have faster warranty claim compare to local set ? unless you wanna sign up plan.

The refurbished set are fully re-conditioned and went thru test by apple. I don't see any higher risk of failing than your current set. If your current set is scratched/dented, why not get a spanking new refurbished set. A 'clean' set is easier to sell also.

if it was me, i'll go down every single day and yell at them. Tell them the warranty is on the phone, not the number.
