QUOTE(MyKy44 @ Apr 26 2011, 11:57 AM) has anyone managed to claim for warranty? i went to digi centre once, they say must wait till 100% faulty. blergh... DIGI is just taking the easy way out. there's no such thing as 100% failure then can change. definitely not from Apple. you have the right to change if it's NOT normal. You just have to make your stand on this.

QUOTE(shadowofevil @ Oct 20 2011, 01:25 PM) bad news guy....call us maxis center....they said iphone 16GB is totally out of stock ....any warranty....2 weeks...they send back to apple..... damn it! I'm just curious where they send it back to ? Singapore ? coz Singapore got awefully lots of refurbished set available. I just changed mine (in Sg) yesterday (warranty left 3 days ) and it's done within 30mins. Which bring back to the point, why get local set when you can have a Sg set which have faster warranty claim compare to local set ? unless you wanna sign up plan. QUOTE(dvlzplayground @ Nov 19 2011, 09:26 AM) nope no replacement phone 12 months. only maxis gives 24 months the whole 24 months by Maxis ? Not 12 months maxis + 12 months apple ?

QUOTE(PepsiCo @ Nov 19 2011, 10:50 AM) the 2nd year warranty by maxis only ? surely maxis gotta go back to apple for repair since they can't repair the phone themselves or hired a 3rd party ? so there's no different for 1st year and 2nd year warranty ? that puzzle me too. I got no idea how the telcos warranty work for 2 years.

QUOTE(roysun @ Nov 23 2011, 08:30 PM) Anyone know Do maxis klcc got stock for iPhone 4 white 16g. Due to my iPhone home button got problem also i think maxis have a 'healthy' stock of refurbished phone for warranty replacement compares to the other 2 telcos.

QUOTE(yezhacolic @ Nov 24 2011, 12:36 PM) Please be reminded you will get a refurbished set IF you managed to claim one. Not all users want to have their phone replaced as there are cons for having a refurbished set. These are issues which you won’t notice unless you use the refurbished iPhone 4, or until when the problem manifests. This could really be a disaster. IMO, I will have my iPhone for replacement only IF my motherboard kong **touchwood*. End of the day, decision is in your hand. Just piece of my opinion. The refurbished set are fully re-conditioned and went thru test by apple. I don't see any higher risk of failing than your current set. If your current set is scratched/dented, why not get a spanking new refurbished set. A 'clean' set is easier to sell also.

QUOTE(szech @ Dec 10 2011, 04:00 PM) Guys, I have one bad experience to share regarding warranty claim from maxis KLCC. I bought the phone end of last year and recently the home button didnt work anymore. Then I tried to claim from maxis today, but the say the IMEI is registered under a different phone no that is my brothers'. Eventhough the receipt clearly stated my name but I cant claim because when I bought the phone I gave my brothers no for the free 500mb since Im buying without the contract. The person didnt say that the phone will be registered under that name and I thought the receipt with my name is sufficient to claim the warranty. They are making hard for people to claim for warranty but I'll make sure I get the claim back. if it was me, i'll go down every single day and yell at them. Tell them the warranty is on the phone, not the number.
