QUOTE(Jimzee @ Jul 11 2011, 10:28 PM) Ah, that's good news! but mine happens occasionally, so it's a bit hard to convince them that my phone has this problem when I send it for warranty I guess intermittent failures really suck.. when u use it, it fail. when the counter ppl press, it's all good.

Clearly the staff there is just not cooperating. Suggest you be a little bit harsh and stand up firm for replacement, its consumer's right. As reading your quote, you mentioned it got worse after several forces applied by the staff. Just go Maxis centre again, and complain about incident; and deem for fair inspection on the iPhone. Case yet to close? Speak to their upper management. Good luck.

QUOTE(ybtan @ Jul 12 2011, 09:24 PM) Do i have to restore back my jailbroken phone when i wanna send back to service center? Yes, thats the first thing on my check list before I send in for warranty. Warranty void IF they find out about this (not sure whether this still applies). Another thing is I want NO privacy invasion. Tiba2 insurance xxx call up, saying got your contact from "referrer". What comes out from your mind? Disturbance ! Oh mai

To do that, you have to restore. Aren't you somehow concern on the warranty? rule of thumb, go straight to either KLCC or TTDI branch for home button issues replacement. in most cases, they have replacement sets available & are pretty flexible when comes to intermminent failures.

Hi, How hard is hard? It responses how many times out of 10? If 1/10, less likely you will get a replacement.
