 iPhone 4 home button issues discussion thread, anyone able to claim from DiGi?

Make sure that maxis did not record your set as water damage in their system. If there is record, its no point to change the water sensor indicator. I think you won't be able to claim.
Better do the button repair.

haha...my frenz just sent the phone last to weeks and only manage to get his replacement unit after one week!!quite long waiting list there..i manage to get my replacement unit fom maxis klcc within 2 days only...

hehe...i already ask them about this n they say u only can claim the same color for ur replacement unit...black for black n white for white... biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Faulty speakers/mic, volume/mute button malfunction, camera flash not working, camera not working. I just claimed my new Iphone as well due to the home button. Saw their system with those symptoms with other people.

Where's the water sensor located? How do they know about water dripped in?

u should restore ur iphone before cliam the warranty coz they will not accept iphone which have been JB..

the water sensor located at the headphone jack port n charging port... u can refer to the pics below.. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

what actually caused this home button malfunctioning? pressing too much? lol then from today i keep pressing the home button until its sot sot dei then bring go telco for warranty can? shhh~~~ lol

what about the volume rocker or sleep/wake button very loose..can hear the 'tik tak tik tak' sound when your finger press the buttons
can warranty?

maybe u can try ur luck to claim the warranty but as far as i know the local telco will only justify to give u the replacement unit if it is proof that the sleep/wake/home button is damage..if just 'tik tak tik tak' but still working perfectly i dont think u can claim for the replacement unit. icon_rolleyes.gif
