Do tweeters increase the sound quality by much at all?
I listen to alot of latest songs plus club songs... though I dont necessary need the bass to be blasting until outsiders can hear from the car like those 'clams'

It depends on your taste of music and the speakers in your car.
I just love the high note sound that is produced by tweeters.
If you are not satisfied with the sound setup and quality, then consider upgrade the player and speakers.

Even my Pioneer CD Player+Pioneer speaker can beat the OEM sound system of the Toyota. tongue.gif

Hello..

New here and I just want to know Vios is using Timing belt or timing chain?
Just bought a 2nd hand Vios and it got some noise, belting kind of noise under the hood. Worried tho because it is a 2nd car.

Added on April 19, 2011, 1:16 pmOh, btw, its a 2005 Toyota Vios E

Yea you're right I'm not satisfied with it at all.. the quality is poor and it doesn't even feel like it surrounds...
I don't know what to do with it, should I add just subwoofers + tweeters to give it a surround feel instead of changing the whole original system? As I feel it is a waste considering it is all still brand new lol

My Chevrolet Optra original sound system was soo much better

Hi all sifu, anyone here know where i can install locktech around setapak or pj ss2 area? I know many people say any accessories can do it but i am afraid they will clone the key as i do not know them and it is the security of my car. Anyone here can recommend a good and trustable shop? Oh by the way how much is the thing cost and labour charges?

Thanks!!!

i am using locktech

but i doubt they will clone the key so that they could steal your car later. they are running a business. i dont think they want to involve in crime at the same time. if that is the case then most of the aftermarket security system installer out there are no use too. they install it to you and later on they steal your car..

about the location i cant advice, i install it at penang

it might be the V-belt problem... changed once...
although it is using timing chain and it should last for life... but there is a 2 belts in the engine bay, aircond compressor and alternator if not mistaken... smile.gif

By the way is the locktech convenient to use? and when you install it that time did the toyota SC say will void any warranty on the car parts?

i would say it is the most convenient way to lock your car , can check my thread, one of our bro did a real detail review on the lock rclxms.gif

and most importantly it would not void any warranty as it is just plug and play item smile.gif smile.gif
