No sure if it's true or not, i ask my SA about the Toyota centre in ipoh, whether they hav this Body & Paint service or not. My SA told me they dont have tis service in Toyota centre (Ipoh), they will send ur car to somewhere else for the paint service. Not sure tat "somewhere" is where.

my SA actually suggested for me to use mineral for the first 1000km service... his reasoning is that earlier on better use the mineral since the next service is only at 5K which is 4k km away... when go for the 5k km service then start to use the semi-sync...

err i heard that beginning from the 7k, the engine start to feel berat etc.. correct ka?
my previous vios... i use semi-sync all the way.. and still service at a regular 5K interval.. no problem at all till the day i let it go......

mmg btul pn...biase lps 5k mmg enjin terasa berat...tp selama ni mmg servis kete kt toyota segambut, diorg xde tnye nk gune full/semi, awal2 dlu msa servis kali ke 3-4 je dia ade la tnye nk pkai minyk ape...pastu diorg suggest pakai semi je...lps pd tu, dia xde tnye da...mybe dia just tgk history servis kete kite sblm ni...lps servis dia tepek sticker next servis 10k km...tu yg sy ingt stiap 10k km je kna servis....kete sy hjung bln 11 ni bru 2thn....

hmm every 5K lebih kurang itu la costnya.... from what i know.. usually full-syn most people do 10K/service... but i alwasy change at 5K even with semi-sync.... its just me...

Ur lucky that the guy at least pay for the re-spray.

Mine was a bit unlucky as the old fart driving an old Mercedes kept saying that there was no proof as bumper was still intact .
In the end, the old fart dun wanna pay and i have to cough up the repair myself.
I have taken photo of his car plate that I still keep until today for future encounter with his car.

As mentioned in my posts awhile back, tested the car after changing air filter and cleaned the dirty MAF sensor, regained power and f/c. Full tank about 400km+ now, just to let you guys know if there's bad f/c and gutless torque/power check your air filter and MAF sensor.

TRD bodykit... very worth it bro

Yeah, you have to be careful with the sensor. I brought it to the mechanic and while waiting for the filter to arrive from the parts shop i opened up the MAF sensor just to have a look, and to my surprise its blardy dirty so i gave it to the mech and he cleaned it up for me.

I suppose its best to clean your MAF with a experienced mechanic since they have the right cleaner and tools and know what they're doing. Dont wanna screw up your MAF now do we.
