QUOTE(matyrze @ May 8 2011, 01:46 PM) @hack3line, anyway here is video about La Masia FC Barcelona youth players development, don't know already posted or notNice post! I also thought why not Malaysian government concentrate on bringing Barca's expertise into our youth development system, rather than sending our youngsters training abroad. However to bring Barca's expertise into Malaysia, well it is not that easy. Bringing Barca's expertise in maybe the easiest option. But in all honesty Barca's project outside Catalunya have yielded very minimal result, and there are not so many of them btw. Last I heard Sandro and his board was considering to close down Barca's training center in Argentina. Only Eto'o Foundation program in Cameroon, in which Barca is the active partner, have yielded impressive results. Well, having Eto'o as the ambassador surely have attracted top talents from the country. Considering how minimal the overall result have been, what are the odds that Barca may decide to invest in SEA region? Next option is sending our top management of youth development to Spain and learn how the cantera system works. But before we go over there, we must understand that the system is a non profit business, or even money-losing projects. And considering how weak our local clubs in terms of marketing and generating money for themselves, it is utterly impossible to implement it here. Not being pessimistic towards our football development program, but there is so much more our football scene can improve on, before we look for tips outside. Strengthen our foundation, and go abroad searching for fresh ideas. Further input may be found in Malaysia football thread. I believe folks over there have discussed about this youth development issue. But I do dream of Barca football school here in M'sia one day. If tiki-taka is embraced by the whole world, added by any variations, football will be "The Beautiful Game" again i wish malaysia can have a mix of youth players development Barcelona + Ajax + Arsenal but this kind of report come from Argentina regarding on your statement Argentina Doesn’t Benefit as Players Go Abroad http://www.nytimes.com/2011/01/02/sports/s...?_r=1&src=twrhp the project of FC Barcelona youth player development in argentina start in year 2007 ![]() http://www.fcbarcelona.com/web/castellano/..._argentina.html |

Has Man U has been picking up form at the right time?
Can someone who watches EPL and Man U confirm this? I dont know but I kept on reading all season long that Man U has been scraping wins and them playing poor football but still manage to grind out results but then I watch them against Schalke, totally different story. |

QUOTE(barca96 @ May 9 2011, 12:48 PM) Has Man U has been picking up form at the right time? last nite MU was simply awesome.. chelsea unable to find any space... just crossing & crossing as an alternative to enter MU back 4.. MU defend & attacking was brilliant... hernandez & rooney is the main threat i guess.. Can someone who watches EPL and Man U confirm this? I dont know but I kept on reading all season long that Man U has been scraping wins and them playing poor football but still manage to grind out results but then I watch them against Schalke, totally different story. i wish we can field the best back 4 in the final.. i was hoping adriano can fit in the final since we need his speed on the left,,... forza barcelona!!!! |

I'm only worried about Villa's performance right now. Last night, he misses at least 2 clear chances in front of goal. Hope he will score in the remaining liga matches ahead of CL final to gain confidence back.
