QUOTE(barca96 @ Mar 9 2011, 07:28 AM) Not a threat at all. this thing happenedI was really surprised.. It really should've been more than 5 goals if they didn't try to be so cute lol Added on March 9, 2011, 7:29 am wait. i will give when it's up. you want HD? 800mb ish? Added on March 9, 2011, 7:33 am First off all, it was a striker who got sent off. It didnt made it any easier for us in terms of finding the back of the net since RVP is the highest up the pitch. And did he do anything of significance before he was sent off? Btw, the red was really harsh. But I am from R'dam and I know that RVP is not one person who is able to control his emotions well. He is like a ticking time bomb. Thank God he didn't get sent off in the 1st half already. But like I said earlier, it didn't made much difference. And if RVP wasn't sent off, Konchelny(sp?) would've for that tackle on Villa. And the clear penalty not given to us in the 1st half.. we just have to accept its part of the game I dont know whether you guys knew or not in real madrid match against espanyol casillas was sent off in 2 minutes into the game which in replay shows no contact at all but they suck it up and go try win the game and they did did arsenal even tried to attack yesterday? i dont think so |

didnt watch the game, but my housemate (arsenal fan) said it was all barca. no shot from arsenal. the possesion was 90% to barca. hence, barca is the rightful winnah.
p/s: blaming referee among fans is a trend atm. |

Don't target anybody la bro. myhotgary just stated his opinion when he said Masch played bad. He was not saying Masch was a bad player for Barca. IMHO Masch did look clueless in numerous matches before. Yes he could get his trademark tackles in, but in Barca people people expect other other quality from DM too. Its good that Masch finally seems to be getting better game by game. It should not be a reason to target the critics back.

I iz sad, because of so much emphasize is on the ref, when Arsenal have only themselves to blame for their defeat.
"Arsenal failed to muster a single shot at Camp Nou as they were eliminated 4-3 on aggregate, the first time a team has failed to do so since Opta's Champions League records began in 2003." sos from soccernet. They cry for van Persie's sending off, when in fact he was utterly useless when he was on. They said his sending off changed the game, so why oh why he didn't changed the game in Arsenal's favour when he was ON THE FIELD? He had 56th minute to do that. Zero shot on goal, against a heavily rotated back line, what a way to show your presence on the field as forward. Maybe they should learn from Hercules on how to counter attack us in Camp Nou, and take Nelson Valdes as their main cikgu. But nvm, I don't think Arsenal need tips from a poor club from an inferior league compared to theirs. |

BUT had busacca sent off abidal for his choke on RVP,what do you think the result will be?we had diaby sent off for choking barton during 4-4 game against newcastle.how on earth busacca didn't sent abidal off for that violent conduct?and fyi,we contained with barca's attack very well until cesc's backheel to iniesta.it took a careless mistake for barca to score a goal. after the second half begin,we gained our momentum, just like at the emirates and hence, the own goal by busquet.if you're saying that RVP was useless, think again.the first half we were only sit back and defend.the second half we begin to attack.or else how on earth RVP entered the offside position if we didn't attack? Before Abidal touched van Persie, they were arguing over a tackle (I forgot who received it). They both argued, so both players would get cards, not just Abidal. Don't be too biased here. You can never know what words came out during that argument. Van Persie also played his part during the argument. Not just Abidal.
You said Arsenal gain their momentum just because Nasri dribbled on the left flank on his own, only to be surrounded by Abidal (iinm) and Masch, and no support to look for, and just get a corner? Arsenal was never in the game dude. Arsenal fared a lot poorer than the likes of Hercules, Sporting and Villareal, who gave us a game in Camp Nou. At least they registered shots, and gave us scares. |

QUOTE(devis87 @ Mar 9 2011, 07:36 PM) Seriously stop saying u guys lost because of the damn red card. We have our "supposed to be 2-0" goal disallowed during the 1st leg that will prob kill all ur players confidence and we nvr complain bout the referee helping arsenal. Lots of you are saying abidal should get a red as well. Well just give him a red if u guys think it's a right thing to do. But can u even defend VP from tat red card? He should've gotten it RIGHT after he pushed alvis and his elbow. Ur "u know who" player would have another red for tat smart ass back tackle but the referee didn't do that. Just move on and improve ur game.. Your players are still young and have lots of room for improvement. if he didn't got choked by abidal,he wouldn't react by shoving alves.he was clearly pissed off by that incident.we're moving on but some of you can't stop looking down on us by keep on saying that barcelona was superior.f*ck that.we won against you at the emirates.and we contained with your attack for the first 45 minutes at nou camp.how is that more superior?yes, your players got the skill.the passing was flawless but we still manage to absorb the pressure from you.at least show us some respect. |

QUOTE(sickx @ Mar 9 2011, 07:49 PM) if he didn't got choked by abidal,he wouldn't react by shoving alves.he was clearly pissed off by that incident. You just have to relax dude. I don't mean to belittle Arsenal. Honestly I don't. we're moving on but some of you can't stop looking down on us by keep on saying that barcelona was superior.f*ck that.we won against you at the emirates.and we contained with your attack for the first 45 minutes at nou camp.how is that more superior?yes, your players got the skill.the passing was flawless but we still manage to absorb the pressure from you.at least show us some respect. But the fact is the match stat read something like this: ![]() Which very very clearly showed clear domination by Barca, even unbelievable for ourselves. As I mentioned, even Nelson Valdes and his Hercules did a lot lot lot more better than Arsenal. And when you come here suggesting that our first goal was just purely the result of Cesc mistake, I think we have the right to be pissed off. Why don't you think its the result of our brilliant way of pressuring opponents right in their own half? If we fail to score from Cesc mistake, what make you so sure we couldn't score another goal, like the second we scored? This involve a lot of 'what if', an argument filled with speculation and theories. The argument that you guys might fell apart even if you were playing 11 players, like how we score the first goal, may be applicable too. Its just that you guys decided to turn blind on this argument, because it suits you guys lesser. So this argument about referee is pointless, because it involves something might or might not have happened. The fact is, Arsenal played poor, and Barca deserve to go through. QUOTE(sickx @ Mar 9 2011, 07:57 PM) it was masch on jack.both argued but did you see RVP choked abidal back?at least during that moment,RVP still able to handle his temper by not choke/punch/shove abidal back. And more "might be" argument eh. Added on March 9, 2011, 8:14 pmOh, and please note that I've NEVER brought out Ref's mistake against us over these two legs, because I honestly feel discussing on Refs' performance is pointless. I really do. This post has been edited by matyrze: Mar 9 2011, 08:14 PM |
