Glad to hear that. biggrin.gif

BTW, got another questions here. If you start your lappy, how long time it takes for the startup.

If anyone interested with acer 4750G (core i7, GT540M), I'm thinking of letting go mine. Price below rm2700. Warranty 1 yr, start 14 April. Can be extended to 3 yrs but cost additional 450

@[G]ood_DaY:
Did you got a fixed version of your 5750G? Does cpu-z say revision B3?
Cuz my dealer won't replace mine, they said I should use the warrenty and send it to acer if I notice an issue someday.

B2 is the old motherboard while B3 is the new motherboard(claimed to be the fixed one)
But after swapping, it still shows B2(Mine is the blue colour 5750G)

most vendor still using old BIOS, which label it as B2. u can physically dismantle the motherboard if you want to confirm but no need for that.

B2/B3 represents the CHIPSET version. For SandyBridge B2 is the one with the problem and B3 should be the fixed version. But the fixed version still shows B2. doh.gif
