Only GT555M DDR3 ?

Well apparently.

But the 555m is pretty good though.

And one slight problem came with my laptop. Read my last post on my NP8150 review for more details .

the SSD short connector wasn't much expected. Thought that these connectors are same throughout different manufacturers (i mean, isn't there SATA-IO which governs everything bout SATA? Surely they should include the connector dimension as well, right?)

the Msi GT680R `s performance is same as Sager np8130?

cause both same spec..but the price is far way different lol

I don't know, but the Corsair F60 I have did look like it had short connectors...talk about designing . I placed my Momentus XT in right now and did fresh install again. Sigh

How to check the hard drive got short connector? Is it cannot fit to laptop connector at all?

what to do? Everyone is busy playing with their new toy.

I have some cash in my hand and plan to take either NP8150/NP8170 from rjtech.com (barebone system without hard drive and RAM). Others are standard config.

Well, it fits well. But I would assume that the copper/gold connectors of the SSD doesn't really click together. I uploaded a pic of the Corsair just in case. I have another reply from my reseller that this only happens with Corsair drives. They tried a G-skill drive, and works pretty good.



It takes quite awhile for it to pass the initial BIOS read sometimes, then says "Insert Boot Media."

Some SSD manufacture didn't use original connector like Molex brand and they cheap one like made in China or Taiwan which cannot fit very well

if i add another SSD into it , means , i have to buy a caddy disk? or something like that lol..will it effect battery life?

yes it might, but probably not a lot.

imagine that when you used DVD, although it's connected to the system, you only truly use it when you are accessing something. else, i think it would go into a idle state. Hard disk, well, i think you're going to access it a lot of time.

oh...how about the caddy case thingy?
