Eh guy , currently there are a few options come in my mind
I wan a wide angle zoom len for DX body , i will stick to DX for quite long but i wan to change to a better DX body soon. and want to start fund for N len before move to FX.
First i was thinking tokina 11-16 f2.8 , but too bad i cannot auto focus using my current body now
1) Sigma 8-16mm f4.5-5.6
2) Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 VC
3) Sigma 17-50mm f2.8 OS HSM
4) Suggest me nikkor as well
I keep asking myself whether f2.8 is important , yes it is important for me , but how do you all think ?
I need wide angle to shoot environmental portrait , adding drama to people , something like shooting people doing their works..
thanks for guiding me !
the wider aperture lets you blur the background so that your subject(people in your case) can stand out more. Also, it would come in handy in low light situation where you doesn't need to bump so much on your ISO.
If you can, find a cheap used nikkor 17-55.
Nikkor > siggy 17-50 > tammy 17-50
Never tried the siggy 8-16 before
