are u using the stock DIR-615? if yes, then that's the problem, the speed seems fluctuate while using wireless thru this DIR-615. that's y i'm using my own router. much stable. at one time, the download speed is only 4Mb while upload at max speed. sometimes, both speed drop to 4Mb or lower. i started to use my own wifi router, at least 80% of the actual speed fine for me since it's wireless

the way i setup at the moment is, the stock dlink dialing the pppoe session. while my own router act as an AP only. that went well for now. so i havent decided whether to buy a replacement for DIR-615.
i have 2 routers, one is also dlink (different model) and level 1 (very old) but both able to reach at least 8Mbps while using wireless. |

Anyone knows how to login into the Huawei HG850a BTU recent installs? I think they changed the password or something.. telecomadmin/admintelecom no longer works. Also the web interface login is only accessible for a short while after the BTU boots up. After that it becomes inaccessible (failed to connect). TM may have toughened up the security.
