Aiya... Why like that one? I'm trying not to be so kiasu. I wanted to try VIP5 but since there's a download limit, if every month I exceed the download limit, die lorh.. Need to change to BIZ5. But if I don't exceed, it's fine one.. I'm heavy in streaming and downloading stuff and there are also other 3 people in the house... Should I just get BIZ5?

ok.
damn, i'm still thinking whether to have unifi or not given the fact of the expensive installation fee.
if i have made appointment with them this week but they have yet to call me to confirm about the exact date, is it possible to cancel it?

Just to ask again, anyone here from BU mind sharing how much is the installation fee?

free installation applicable during the date you register it, not the date you install.

not really... a simple calculation (straightforward excluding multipexing, internaltional exchange fee, etc)...

let say we have a dedicated pipe 10,000GB bandwidth for unifi users (home) and we have the following number of subscribers

VIP5: 50 users
VIP10: 25 users
VIP20: 5 users

we assume all the users are using the same average bandwidth of 120GB

VIP5 users (who chose the cheapest package but want the unlimited bandwidth) = 6000GB

VIP10 users (also want unlimited bandwidth) = 3000GB

VIP20 users (who paid the highest premium also wanted unlimited bandwidth) = 600GB

Total bandwidth will be = 9600GB which is already 96% of the total capacity

Now if capping is in place

VIP5 - 50 x 60GB = 3000GB

VIP10 - 25 x 90GB = 2250GB

VIP20 - 5 x 120GB = 600GB

Total bandwidth will be = 5850GB which is only 58.6% of the total capacity

Therefore it doesnt need 1million users for TM to enforce capping...

OK for any 1 that need to estimate the installation fee exactly is quit easy.

-For land property 1st u have to know what ur house lenght 60',65' or 70' (normally car park area take 10-15')
-Than where there will pull the fiber optic cable will pull from, Behind or front
-Do u need extra service like climbing through ceiling or drag the cable to top of roof and pull till front?
- where is ur modem location, living room or some where else

1st 15m is = to abt 49 feet minus the 5 meter which is from modem to the small box and exactly u have 33 feet only.

~So if u plan to put modem in living room and pull from behind mostly u have to pay extra 50-150 which will charge on next bill
~If from front and at living room than u have no worry
~any extra service like climb pull through ceiling or roof will need pay extra cash to the contractor (price deal with contractor when there reach)

Example i am a 20 x 65 property and my modem is locate at living room.
From behind till living room after turn here and there it take abt 30M total and minus free 15M and another 15m will be bill on latest bill i receive which is abt RM 150.00

how much usually is the climbing part?

and your modem is on ground floor or 1st floor of the living room, assuming your house is a 2 storey one.

Hard to say it really depend how much the contractor willing to charge you. If you talk properly with him may be will be standard price if lcly than sure charge you more and you complain tm also useless cause that is their job and unrelated to tm.

My modem locate at ground floor living room. If straight till tv it will shorter till like 20 or 15m only but i request it drag till another corner where my power socket locate that why it become till 30m and another 3m exactly is waste cause that already come with the modem. And tm still bill for it. So your exact free install lenght is 10m only.
