Just want to ask how to upgrade the ClockworkMod Recovery? I Google and found some info said using FASTBOOT. Need to know what is the steps? Put the zip files in SD Card? Then what next? Is it the same as Flash Custom ROM? Thanks.

QUOTE(ShinnKQ @ Feb 25 2011, 09:52 AM) Of course. Including hboot me thinks. Basically the exact same state o_o not sure about recovery, probably as well. yes, this is confirm. after nandroid, don't switch to other recovery before if you need to restore. ^ but if u switched from amon ra to cwm may brick for me, actually seldom nandroid. just lazy... just flash n flash, latest to latest. so far no issue and no turning back needed. |

QUOTE(benleong2008 @ Feb 24 2011, 05:05 AM) Starburst is my favourite so far. Even with live wallpaper on, it is still very smooth ("leaping" is smooth too). Had some force closes before this but once I partitioned sd card correctly, it is very stable and smooth. Have been using for 2 days. I've been trying to install starburst but keep failing after the reboot .. what partition did you have ? I did one fat32 + one 1.5 GB ext4 .. after install Data2SDInstallerW3_StarBurst.zip it took forever at the htc logo .. more than an hour and I gave up Added on February 25, 2011, 1:02 pm QUOTE(iamkent @ Feb 25 2011, 09:33 AM) I'm running oxygen gingerbread rom and it's bloody fast !!!This post has been edited by yolk: Feb 25 2011, 01:10 PM |

QUOTE(Tricky @ Feb 25 2011, 02:26 PM) Faster then stock Don't believe people when they say 'fast' lolololol. It just means it's stable All the roms i test say fast but not my 'fast' Based on what you said, booting speed quite standard with some of the other roms (MIUI, CM7, leedr) Idk but to me they all boot about the same time, and ofc faster than Stock. Apps running fast is ... ._. that 1 depend on ur phone specs right Unless u got some apps together with rom that eats up CPU then maybe....but no lol This post has been edited by ShinnKQ: Feb 25 2011, 02:41 PM |

I don't reboot my phone everyday so it doesn't matter to me how long it boots. Using the phone/OS is snappy. There's no wait/lag. Every click is instantaneous; I believe the lack of Sense UI could be a contributing factor as well. Plus you're left with about 100MB after flashing the rom !!! yeah i know. But you know last time i use his rom was RC3/4. after that i'm on cm7 and never look back. i'm considering but devnull is stock as hell so i might miss a lot of features from CM. 46MB looks tempting for me though.
