All done with Gparted LiveCD
sdcard speed enhanced via this partition method: leaving 1MB after each partition.

SetCPU set to max (1190MHz) and scaling to Performance.

I installed Quadrant Standard and did 5 benchmarks in a row (no reboot):

1. 2506
2. 2597
3. 2262
4. 2403
5. 2432

Average: 2440


After another reboot (power off, wait a few seconds, power on), I performed another 5 benchmarks in a row:

1. 2289
2. 2487
3. 2453
4. 2403
5. 2551

Average: 2436.6


Although is not the highest Quadrant Score, but I'm already satisfied with the result and the space I get. bye bye to cachesd...

did you use flash light frequently as torch light or turn it on while recording video?

suggest no need to move the apps, but a2sd+ main advantage is move the dalvik-cache to ext.sd card. dalvik-cache utilize more our value space. do you already flash the the recovery? rom manager required recovery-clockwork.

Google/Froyo APP2SD allows you to move certain apps to your SD card and run them from there BUT as these are placed on the normal root of the SD when you mount the SD, via USB for example, you loose access to these apps until you remount SD. This means you cant install widgets to the SD and such like.


APP2SD+ on the other hand uses an ext3 partition (or ext4 on newer versions) which then installs all apps & widgets to that partition and when the SD is mounted you dont lose any apps or widgets as is located in a seperate partition. further enhance to free up more from internal memory which is move also dalvik-cache to ext.sd.

not sure the rumor HTC Desire HD2 will come up or not. 8GB storage and higher resolution.

SGS II when will available in Malaysia and expected how much?
I never think before to jumpship to samsung, but if htc really don't have better choice.
samsung are only brand can be consider. lg, moto, se, etc... not preferred..

lol, as previously said. htc merajuk coz google 2nd nexus give to samsung called nexus s
so htc make themselves: HTC Desire S, Wildfire S, and Incredible S. not only 1 Desire S but another 2 more. instead of II
rumor said htc might keep the dual-core and higher spec on year end, hopefully....

previously there is 1 app able to change the LED for nexus, not sure will work for desire or not.
not trying that before coz already jump to MIUI quite long time and MIUI already build in this feature...

right now brut version is 4.6.0.4686-brut17, not sure also whether brut got release newer or not.
I guess the option on cache a huge chunk of google maps is quite difficult. specially all google product, all are cloud rules.
suggest other, like papago.

erm....my papago working fine. maybe you can try each of radio firmware 1 by 1 or install the RIL. don't give up. I also encounter same before.
google maps only can cache manually, sigh.... which data plan you're using?

I'm not using latest radio too. if older radio are working perfectly, just stay which are the best.
diff device set might suit certain radio firmware. the best is you tested 1 by 1 by urself. please be patient, give the papago max 2 min.

did you check the 1st page guide? spend some time on research on google and the info on 1st page also are sufficient enough to resolved the low space issue.

there is no perfect table but
is depend on which rom you choose.
check ur rom after finish installed. what is the /system size.
then check which table are closer.
so the differences for all table are only the size..
