OMG dilemma!

All telcos are evil. They make us consumers pay for our greed and wants. My best advice to you is to try and buy the phone from our LYN sellers. You should get at least 2000++ off RPP and stick to DiGi's plan. I can't wait for my Maxis plan to expire so i can jump ship.

If they subsidize above 500-700, great.. try to do some calculation of how much u spend monthly on internet vs when using plan with subsidized. Seems like even for SGS2, Maxis is subsidizing low so buying outright is a win win. Im not renewing my maxis so ill be using prepaid again + buying.monthly mobile internet data bandwidth via topup deduction lump sum. I smsed too much now n postpaids charged too much for me. Used to be an ideal where my total year use minus subsidize price is under overuse level

ya, outright purchase is also an option -- that's probably where SenQ comes in. it'll depend on my usage. but if anything is to go by... i could end up with digi's smart plan light. only rm28/mth. 300mb. but that should be good enuff for twitter, a few video calls. the rest, can do at home with my streamyx.

well... see how it goes when the telco unveil all the plans. but again, i m not hopeful when it comes to maxis.

I'm only depending on wifi as my office is fully covered by wifi and when at home just turn on my home wifi. That duration also with 10 mins of angry bird

You want true push mail - buy a blackberry. You can always set notifications how to show you when you receive mail . i find this is a nuisance and I disabled it. However those who like such - you can set it. You will see short header clips scrolling at top of taskbar when mail comes in

mr benny, thanks for the kind reply..yes, as u can tell, im from a BB user..previously i THINK the push setting was working, i didnt have to go into my mailbox MANUALLY, and refresh it MANUALLY, somehow the mail did arrive i guess..and it showed in the notification bar.

but referring to what you said, are u saying that android doesnt have push mails???

meaning to say, if i were to send u an email, u WILL NEVER know u have an incoming email unless u check it??

i wish to have the option where i dnt have to check it and knwing straight away as i look at my phone theres an email waiting to be read (from the notification bar or widget/app)

The Mobile Phones and PDAs forum was originally a post counted forum. Ever since the Desire HD thread started spamming post and threads the mods made the forum a no post count forum. Which is why you can see people simply replying. I follow trend only.

Which is also the contributing factor as to many forummers' attitude when replying/asking questions. Like they expect an answer when they ask, and quote their question when the Q wasn't answered after 3 thread replies.
