Mind telling your source of news? 10 June's rather early, earlier than Samsung Galaxy S II official launch

Vodafone UK is shipping the phones out already 2 weeks ago. There's the AdSense leak as well to back up the early release date. And so far there's no 'no stock' news from HTC so I guess everything's doing fine for HTC.

Sorry cant reveal any sources as i was told not to. I was also told that product training has already been conducted. Price has not been decided yet.

Yes i agree 10 June is early, but not impossible since it launches officially on 8 June in UK/US.

AP sets are going as high as 3K as one seller from lelong claimed to be getting stocks by sometime this week. (I am more skeptical on this one)

I was reading XDA today, and someone named Julianfong from Hong Kong has already gotten one. Here is his bootloader screen. Check out the parts in bold.

Means Sensation is being shipped with unlocked bootloaders? That's something to cheer, definitely

But the RRP of 2.4k - 2.6k is really high, compare to SGS2 RRP

HTC Senstation was released in Korea in May 25. It's exclusive to SK Telecom, and the factory price is almost the same to Galaxy S2 in Korea, even though on-contract price is roughly 150,000 won(about 140$) cheaper than Galaxy S2.

In term of build quality HTC Sensation has the premium feel compare to SGS2

IMHO The reason why the SGS2 is cheaper is because they wanted to counter the LG Optimus 2X phone which is only retailing at RM1899. LG is claiming this is the most affordable dual core smartphone in Malaysia market now.

It's not unibody design, the whole back is a snap-on cover. You can check out reviews at SlashGear, where the back cover is taken off, and the Sensation looks fragile

I know you can take out the back smile.gif
the fact is there's aluminum construction for the phone's body

if Sensation looks fragile then there's no phone that's "solid" enough for you, IMO

lol that dude in XDA got an ENG device, meaning it is meant for developers. Whether the security flag remains off is anyone's guess.

I would say an EVO3D would be a better buy than the Sensation. There's nothing appealing with the Sensation unless for the Sense UI and the HTC offerings. The Sensation reeks of quality if compared to the SGS2. I would like to see whether I prefer SGS2's webpage rendering though...

I didnt know that HTC sent out developers devices for the Sensation, if so, the locked bootloader issue wouldnt have been an issue from the start.

What are the chances the EVO3D will make its way here? 2 flagship devices. hmmm.... its not something im going to complain about smile.gif

Developer phones have been around for a long time already. I know that the Nexus One have 2 versions namely the dev version and the retail version. I forgot what's the difference though.

The issue with bootloaders is that the devs need the users to have their bootloaders to be unlocked as well to use the apps that he made, isn't it? Devs having unlocked bootloaders mean nothing if the user base he is targeting doesn't
