Added on February 21, 2011, 8:01 amNo true solutions for SNS contacts backup. You can sync facebook photos to Gmail from the computer, but I still don't think it's a replacement for SNS. You'll get used to link contacts manually after a while.

I'm not sure for Yahoo Mail, but if you have Hotmail, you can get push mail over stock Email app. You can do similar things to Yahoo Mail, provided that they have IMAP/exchange server. http://mengsuan.blogspot.com/2011/02/andro...-push-mail.html

Read your article on the Exchange push mail earlier. Good discovery made on your side, unfortunately, I've removed that Email app from my phone thinking that it doesn't have Push notification and I do not have access to Exchange. lol

Maybe I'll put it back, but if that's the case, meaning I'll be running 3 email apps at 1 go.

Gmail - 2 accounts
Email - Hotmail via Exchange push
Samsung Hub - Yahoo Mail push

If only Email can manage Yahoo Mail push, then I can ditch Samsung Hub.

input mode there no automatic..only got swype, samsung, google...

I mean when u open up your "Messaging" APP, press MENU BUTTON, then SETTINGS, look for INPUT MODE. set it to automatic.

sei lo. suddenly my phone got this prob
when charging (power, not usb thru pc), my phone's screen will not turn off. i have to press the power button to witch off my screen.

when fully charged, it will notify me that the batt is full by noise notification and turning on the screen by itself (normal situation), but after that, it wont turn off dy.

Any1 encounter this b4? if so, whats wrong n how can i fix this..

I dont see that option under Development, only USB debugging and Allow Mock Location.

Hi all sifu, need some help from here. Now I on the flagship rom. Before migrate I were on the Darky9.2 and done titatium backup for all app+data. After flasing, i try to restore my app+data through titatium backup also. But when I reboot I enter msg it prompt error. All my previous sms is gone and msg app force close. Did anyone encounter this issue?

i guess the titanium backup version has to be the same when you restore the data. the titanium backup on flagship ain't the latest right?

oops, i did not face any fc since i didn't restore backup. =.=

I use the titatium backup download from the market just few days ago. It should be same version. I guess the flagship rom is base on 2.2 while Darky is based on 2.2.1. Maybe compactible issue. One thing I like SGS is every few day you have somthing to flash. Keep you busy and sometime stuck.
Tonight may want to switch back to Doc rom to confirm. i
