GPS Aids sound like an STD. looking at the menu and tweaking options available i think its a better choice than Faster Fix.

may i mind you that your only going to get the result on the same place that you are right now. on other place that is far away from there, you may not going to get good result.

so it is good for initial locking before you start your journey

o.O.. well.. i'll share what i've done..
before this.. i use Darky's rom.. then last 2 days.. i flash to stock rom XWJS5 w/o reason..

suddenly saw silenster post about GPS Aids.. then i manage to dload the ZSJPE modem (cwm).. i flash the modem 1st.. then i run the GPS Aids.. and do the "native download"..

then just now only i try to use it.. i run my PAPAGO.. during PAPAGO loading, i view around in front my house then heard the "women voice" said something.. (usually will take more time) i was shock la.. i look at my phone.. lah!? already found my location?! haha.. so fast la.. 4-5secs.. crazy.. happy.gif

Hai guise. I was wondering, with the accelorometer, we should have the turn to mute function right? But I can't seem to find it anywhere. Any tips? It's not even in manual. >__>

hey guys?

any ideas how to add 5 lockscreen and extended power menu to our SGS on a stock theme???

Dont really like those themes with a transparent background for notification drop down...
So i was thinking if its possible to add the 5 lockscreen and extended power menu without the other mumbo jumbo...

I have Wildfire and Desire, the GPS locking time is same as SGS. The only different, they are more accurate (i.e. no jumping position) and good in locking the satellites (no losing signal). Indoor just a few feet better than SGS if you start trying the GPS from the windows.
