ARGHHH HOLY SHIT! I've scratched my screen! Heart damn pain ah.... laowei.... don't know how I manage to scratch corning gorilla glass...

Btw, wassup everybody? How are things these days? I've been quite inactive due to CNY.

And, welcome haxri, probably you can't catch up from v1, just read info on post #1 of thread v12 and v13, there should be enough for you to kick off.

Btw, here's a small update for my theme. Changed seekbar/progress bar to look like this, it is more suitable for GINGERBREAD "look" too I think.

it seems like Doc did not update his ROM's changelog... Or he moved to other places?

Anyway, how is Doc's XWJS5? Any improvement or bug fixed compare to XWJS3?

Assuming your bt headset support A2DP, just check this out in the bt settings screen of the phone - long tap on the headset in your 'bluetooth devices' section, then go to 'options'. Finally, ensure that both 'phone' and 'media' are checked under 'profiles'.

Good to hear that you're all set now. I do use 'selection' feature because I have 2 BT headsets - a Jabra BT530 for calls only, so I enable 'headset' and a Dell BH200 stereo headset for music/video so I only check 'media' for this device.

ssup guys, i just got back from maxis to buy SGS, and the guy told me to wait for a few weeks so that i can enjoy SGS2..

after googling, i found out that SGS2 wont be quite the same as SGS, yes, it is much more better, but the phone developer will changed.. SGS is developed by google, yes? .. and sgs2 is developed by other company..

so, what you guys think? go with SGS, or wait?

Again the optimist ..... brows.gif

unless 15-30m Accuracy is VERY ACCURATE to you ... then i got nothing to say adi....

I found out that its not the SGS problem... its actualy the PAPAGO itself ....

My GPS status test 5-10m accuracy... while when i tab out to papago.. it shows 15m ... and it will Never go below 15m ...

Google maps would constantly show 10m when i test drive it around the same area (Feels very accurate... and near perfect)

But papago ... at the same area .... it will always be 15m or more... (always fluctuate between 15m-30m) ..... so sometimes it might capture my position offroad or the other side of the road...

iGO seems to be a good and accurate GPS.... but problem is the map is not updated for malaysia....

So .. just wanna know sgs users here what GPS software they use......

Ive seen someone mention a few diff GPS software on the past version threads ..... but cant find which thread it is and definately no idea what query to search for..

i use Co pilot live 8 even though the map isnt updated in Malaysia , it never let me down.not even once...
papago signal is pretty dodgy. and i like the interface in co pilot 8 even more, its very clear and bright..
all the POIs are big and clickable..all the roads are in bright colors..
all maps and voices are downloadable straight from the phone without any hassles.

since i travel to overseas a lot, i use co pilot everywhere. easy to get the map as well

Accuracy for me is betwn 5 to 10m. Tracks me right to the dot all the time. Never go off the road or off track. Only time tht happnd was whn I installed faster fix to get a faster lockin. It was totally screwd up then. It was laggy n not accurate. I removed it n it's back to normal now-though it takes 2-4mins to lock in from cold start. sad.gif
