For those cooking Doc's rom, but a bit bored with Doc's standard theme, try cozmic theme in your theme selection.
I'm using it now |

Hi, just getting some feedback.
For those who flashed to Doc's ROM, will there be any performance difference (ie smoothness, lag etc) if we choose different themes? Currently, I'm using Cozmic theme.....I wonder if there is any difference if I use let's say Doc's Theme or GingerMix or Generation X etc? Thanks Btw, Cozmic theme has fly-in animation like Darky's V9.0 |

I'm using the SGP Ultra Slider Matte Series_Gun Metal colour.
They provide some black colour stickers for you to stick it inside the hard case so that you minimise scratching the chrome bezel. However, you need some patience and skill to stick them properly. So far, I have not tried to remove the hardcase...so not sure whether it will damage the chrome or whether it is easy to remove or not. |

QUOTE(Lacus @ Jan 30 2011, 10:57 PM) omg, where did you get it? We need one too. Btw anyone ok with the idea that we invite Hardcore for a yam char session or something? I ordered it online from www.exportprive.com. Check it out if you are keen.Took about 1 week plus to reach me. It's a nice case. The Matte series looks very professional. I love the gunmetal colour |

Hi guys,
I'm currently on Doc's XWJS3. Found that the Gallery bug is still there. I managed to delete the Gallery3D.apk. But when I want to reinstall Gallery 3D from the Market, I couldn't find it in the Market. How ah? Where can I find the Gallery 3D app again...sigh... Thanks |

QUOTE(kfc @ Jan 31 2011, 12:45 PM) Hi guys, I've just flashed the latest doc rom from kitchen. Hi kfc,Quite satisfy with the smoothness of this rom. However, there's some small details which I prefer in Darky. 1.) Circular / percentage indicator for battery. 2.) Percentage indicator of battery while charging in unlock screen. 3.) transparent notification bar. Other than that, I feel it could be a good contender against darky rom. I'm going to test it for a few more days. Anyone got any idea on how to make the percentage indicator for battery works the way like in Darky? thanks. Can you help me to check whether your Doc Rom has the Gallery bug? Thanks If I couldn't resolve it, I might have no choice but go back to Darky's... |

Hi guys,
For those on Doc's ROM XWJS3, do you have the Maps bug, ie the sensor is still running in the background after you close the app. I have solved the Gallery bug but still have the Maps bug.... Any idea? Thanks |

QUOTE(jd4eva @ Feb 3 2011, 12:01 PM) Multitask? I suppose iphone 4 did everything like SGS. IPhone 4 cannot do a true multitask....you can read more about the details online if you are interested. Can explain further about SGS? Added on February 3, 2011, 12:13 pm Great! Can sifus teach me how to show off back to my friends with iphone4? What are the functional things that I can do with my SGS and not on Iphone 4? My friend has Papago in his Iphone 4, what do I have? Iphone is a simple phone for normal functions. Iphone 4 has limitations: 1) Cannot support Flash 2) Cannot cannect thru USB 3) Cannot transfer files thru Bluetooth 4) Antennagate problem 5) Facetime (videocall) only via WIFI, cannot use with 3G. 6) Lower screen technology (although they call it Retina display). SGS has SuperAmoled! 7) No Live wallpapers, no widgets etc. A lot of my friends who bought iphone DO NOT know these limitations. After buying it, they have to live with its limitations, but they do enjoy the simplicity and ease of use. So, if you are looking for a simple phone, go for IPhone. If you are more technology savvy and wants a complex and great functional phone, get the SGS. JUst my 2 cents... |

Hi guys,
For those on Doc's XWJS3, do you face this issue? When you pull down the notifications menu, some of the texts are Black in colour and because the background colour is black, you can't see the text. Example, the info on Lookout Mobile Security, or when downloading music using Gtunes, the text of the notification status can't be read...hope you understand what I mean... I tried different themes, ie Doc's Theme, R64, Cozmic, Generation X and still have the same problem. I flashed to Darky 9.1, the notification menu has a light grey background, so I can see the blacktext. The stock theme also has a grey notification background but a bit boring.... Any idea how to solve this? Is there an option for me to change text to White? Thanks |
