One rim got scratched today on the way out of singapore checkpoint as I had to maneuver a tight space to get out, sakit hati like gila!!! Tomorrow I need to call the tire shop and see if can do touch up , the scratch exposed some metal and paint chipped off....

as for the gaps between tyres n fenders, go check out any cars usually it'll not be so balance in the gaps.

Patience Sothys, i guess the tire shop would do it. Otherwise Tek Ming, Sunway can do rim repairs too.

as long as ur rims not bend, its ok and yeah the scarring on rims tht its frustrating, maybe can just DIY the paint/touch up for the time being.

Added on February 7, 2011, 6:13 pmsince i cant go for SierraG as i'm too far away ,i just bought myself Meguirs stuffs worth 220, ranging frm the wax;gold class,bug&tar remover ,the scratch X and the car shampoo.
so its detailing job DIY after tht day got so much tar spots on frm the drive in pj/genting and spend 5 hrs on removin the tar by rubbing and waxin which my hand hurts/aching but the reward is its so kilat and slippery. hahhaa i think after tht i decided to get proper stuff like the bug&tar remover for quicker task.

Apparently there a limit to the amount of pics you can put in one post.. darn it..

The rim has got scarring only, lucky its not too deep but enough to take out the black paint layer and its located the very outer edge. If viewed from far , not very noticeable, still its a terrible feeling to hear the rim scrape the curb side, dont think the rim is bend, will check it out with the tire shop and hopefully can get it repaired ASAP.

I have the Meg Bug&Tar remover, its a good buy and a must have. Just spray and wipe off the tar, so easy, and its very gentle to the paint coating, and it smells like coconut too I use it on the skirting and wheel fenders only. If bonnet or side door got tar I will use the Meg clay to remove it as I need to be very gentle to the SG coating that I have on my car.

me just smile while listening to their conversation and later they move to their car..
at a moment, i feel like.. don't know how to say but i'm so glad driving the original..

to the uncle, feel sorry to him.. a new car for chinese new year should bring cherish but now being a nightmare..
and the worse is it happened on the first day of the new year..

so.. to the ins*** owner outside there, please beware.. don't just turn off the car anywhere..
lucky to the uncle that his car broke down inside a town.. if in a deserted area, i dunno laa..

Just the time when i'm back to Kuantan. Really2 wish could see Inspira by roadside especially Bentong . even on the road here its kinda rare. practically mine alone. is this source reliable?

a FAKING STORY. Never heard it from any inspira owner either from LYN or inspiraclub.com . Their jealousy is the max. shame on them

I wont and dont deny that there maybe some truth in the story but I have a gut feel its been exaggerated and dramatized a little too much to belittle inspira's worth and bring up the "proudness" in owning a "original" lancer.

My inspira ended up in singapore and back, no problems, all the way smooth and easy. I am sure plenty more Inspira did long distance travel this festive season, seen few on the highway, dont look like they are not happy driving it, in fact, people now respect Inspira on the road, no funny people come and play cucuk cucuk anymore after they witness I tested its power up to 180km/h on the way back, its so easy to reach that kind of speed.

haha..when i was travelling from ipoh to kb, saw at least 3 inspiras, even stopped next to 1 at titiwangsa, a black 1.8E

its abit stupid to even believe it, a battery issue, which wasnt even made by proton to start with.

Well, battery failed is quite often.... And just because is a Lancer such problem won't happens?
Battery's lifespan especially come from new car sometimes won't last long.
