I agreed on some of you that girls shall drive too. It just like you have to give love instead of just receiving the love.
One of the forumer has mentioned that girl can drive during morning or afternoon while at night if going to dinner with bf, the bf can fetch her as night is usually more dangerous than afternoon.

Agreed!! Guys have been gentlemenfor centuries now. Its time for the girls to be more gentlewomen

She has a driving license, but never drive any car since got the license few(many) years back , drove motorcycle since then
Yeah, i would teach her to drive safely but the problem is, is it necessary or not for her to buy a car and increase monthly expense since we about to get married? So back to the point, should both husband and wife each have and own a car? (For regular couple with regular income )

Few things to consider...
Is she going to get a new car or 2nd hand car?
Recommended 2nd hand car so if so happen scratch or accident (touch wood), you guys won't be so heart pain over it.

Is she working? Is her work place far? Are you fetching her? Is it on your way?
Does she need you to fetch her when she wants to go out with friends? I think it depends on how much she needs to use the car. Whether she wants to be dependent on you for fetching her or not. Like in my case for example, I'm always on the go and busy doing my own stuff running here and there, I wouldn't want to burden my partner to send me here and there so it would be best if I can get a car of my own asap.

Put it this way, assuming you two live together now, do you think that if you have two cars at home, will both the cars always be used? Or only one (yours) always out while the other one put at your car porch become white elephant? Also remember, buying a car is easy, but can you both maintain the extra car?

But if she is getting around with her motorcycle on her own nowadays.. maybe it's a good idea to invest in a car because it would definitely be safer for her to be in a car then on a motorcycle.

Thanks for your comments , anyway FYI, she is working with low base salary and we not live together until married(soon). For now I always fetch her here and there and I'm happy by doing so.Only that, she travel by her motorcycle to her office since our home and office is quite far from each other, and honestly I'm worry about that since it's less safe, but as state in your comment I'm also concern if the second car will be white elephant after we get married because I will definitely glad to fetch her everyday. The main reason(i suspect) she need a car is just to replace that motorcycle(now) to go to work and to relief her jealousy towards her friend whom all pose their own car.

i just started coupled up with my bf. He used to pick me up at night but sometimes I will drive out to meet him Now, I prefer him to pick me up at night . If it is day time i will drive to his house and then he will take over the driver's seat ..haha..cus i don't trust my driving skills and i think he doesnt trust my driving skills too..lol

HAHAHAA , i am a guy and i hate to drive . if my frenz call me to fetch him , yes i will ! but after reach his house , yea automatic sit to the left side . (:

they will just feel paiseh nia..hahaha..but normally i will just offer to drive to my bf's house . then reach his house i will just swap seats with him 'cause i feel paiseh with my driving skill as his skill is so much better than mine..

Provided that she will aprpeciate and remember that the guy is the one providing a comfortable drive for her,
