not all ah, i'm always broke haha QUOTE(ssyycc @ Mar 26 2011, 05:25 PM) Hehe base on my experience most audiophine from east malaysia is damn rich.. at least their family is. emm still waiting my 668b. WAiting ur good news on it QUOTE(trio @ Mar 26 2011, 10:13 PM) Currently testing another brand's headphone that looks alike with 668b(90% similar). Impression so far not bad but the comfort and the build quality are alot better. The headphone can actually auto adjust and swivel. A soft leather pad and band. No detachable cable though. However this going to cost more than 668b.

i saw those ppl mod the 681 with aluminium ring to replace the red plastic ring...look so cool...and replace the cable as well...donno where to buy.. i come across this http://rockgrotto.proboards.com/index.cgi?...int&thread=5788 according to the reviewer the samson sr850 it look like superlux 681 but the sound signature like superlux 668b. The ohm for sr850 is smaller than hd668b so i think making easy to drive too by small source like iphone. hmm looks tempting..but i already order the hd668b so this would be redundant too.. The soundcard in PCs are DACs. If you have a proprietary one that came wit the PC(something low-end) you might wanna invest in a proper soundcard, or a USB DAC/Amp combo.

Well.....if it doesn;t hiss and has an overall good sound...they are good. I have yet to find one, even on a high-end laptop.

DAC plays a major role in your headphone/speaker's sound. As long as you got dedicated soundcard most prolly wont have the hiss d. The hiss came from the electric from your mobo or magnetic field.
Yes sr850 sound signature is similar to 668b. But I felt sr850 sounds better though. More bass less harsh on high end, less forward.

i am using the sr850, for those who curious how it sound... can buy me a teh tarik, lol btw, i am from old klang road.
sr850 is good, the 32ohm may seems easy to drive as said impedance. but it will only have better sound with good amping... so...

the easier way, you see sr850 and hd668b, which design you like then just grab that. LOL
if price concern, hd668b is cheaper... there's always a hd681 too

My Hd381F now reaching 70 hours. The sound quality is damp good especially in mid range and treable area...so sweet. Its sound signature close to HD688B..... but cant' compare lah coz 688B is full size headphone.
Compare to crossroad bijou 3..... this little germ surely win in all aspect except in bass section. Amping will help to make it bass more solid and impactfull.
I really recommend this iem for an iem lover.
Cheers.
