2 choices: HD681 or HD668B, btw the "B' in the end refers to "deep & tight bass"

Tips on the pcm2704 usb dac, use a eclipse mints to case it like what I am having now, it definite sound different.

hey ssyycc, wondering 1 thing,and no obvious answers despite numeros times asking:
with my PC on an X-Fi card, connecting to HD681, do i need an amp to amplify some sound details which the X-FI card MAY not be able to do? simply put it: with amp better or don't need?

the xfi have on board amp. by using a amp u amp-ing the already amped sound out of the xfi, which i think is not really recommended.(read it b4 but forgot).
n @ Hackezkk. i would not recommend that setup cos from dac out u cannot adjust volume and also there might be dc offset from dac unless there is coupling caps out of the dac. i would always recommend an amp after the dac.

what the dac does is covert the digital signal from ur pc to analog forum.
n ur amp will amplify the signal to volume required for ur listening. normally by going thru an amp the sound will change due to the parts inside the amp modifying the signal.

That's exactly the same feeling I get Nya- I mean Hitman66.

HD668B provides an amazing quality and clarity for the price. However, I wouldn't even hesitate to spend a few hundred ringgit to get myself a pair of MS1i with the Alumod because I simply love Grado's Signature bright sound. Which is why I refused to write a review with the SR60s as a base. Cause I know I'll be heavily biased towards the Grados.

It will give you POWERFUL FRESH BREATH!

Generally thicker the metal the better to block EMI. The eclipse mint can still ok not too thick to drill.
If let the board exposed openly for sure sound bad one when it's nearby electronic device.

Why not go straight for Shure SRH840?
It sounds superb for vocals (well, that's the only few songs I tested it with).

I just got my 668b from Trio and my first impressions are : holy shit !

I'm just gonna listen to these for a while before comparing it with my SR-60s.
