I juz bought an abby tri-colour back home =) She looks bigger than my 2 months old short hair, so i guess it shud be around 2 1/2 months..I bathed her the moment she reach home (I think shudnt?) so that she can stay clean hehe..

Juz a doubt, abby's gp fur behind the ears memang quite empty one? Like u can see d skin colour 1? or is it fully covered like shirt hair?
iX3rukia, few weeks more i will take pics and show u hehe. Ur gp and mine stayed happily together, very cute =)

PS: Can rolled oats be fed to GPs? My mom gave them some the other day and they seemed to like it a lot. There are a lot of mixed reviews online, some say it's okay, some say "CANNOT!!". So I'm confused to whether it is okay. So far my guinea pigs are doing well.

When guinea pigs are pregnant their nipples don't start to enlarge until the last few days and labour, so you shouldn't have to worry about her being pregnant. It would have been careless for the petstore to keep males and females together as well. I will provide for you a list of the weekly signs of pregnancy.

Week 1 No signs

Week 2 Sow may start drinking more

Week 3 Sow will start gaining weight, there will be a tightening of the abdomen muscles.

Week 4 An experienced breeder will be able to feel small foetuses

Week 5 Sow usually looks noticeably pregnant, taking on a rather rounded appearance. You will be able to feel the outlines of the foetuses.

Week 7 You will be able to feel 'quickening' this is when the babies kick

Week 9 It may become difficult for the sow to move around but she should still be active and eat and drink as normal.
The pelvic bones will separate sometime during this week

Week 10 The babies will be born

@xavi umm kinda like star or round shape botak spot between the pair of eyes and ears in the middle there.

5 months old and above.

But you should breed female guinea pigs (first time) when they are too old. At 7-12 month of age the female’s pelvic bones fuse, making natural delivery next to impossible

No, no, no.
When the female gets older, it'll have more difficulties to deliver the baby.
So, when it's around 6 months, it should be okay.
Read up more about it before breeding please.

Newspaper is a bad bedding anyway, due to the ink. So it is extremely unadvised for you to use it unless it is being separated by metal grills or whatever.
