3de means the screen with 3d? I thought there are only two versions in malaysia? Non 3d and 3d

@kalist0, i think better to ask the shop to confirm for you rather than looking at brochure since its so inconsistent. is the digits at the back, is it the same btw?

apparently the only thing i see in most brochures is G53SX-IX113V, the standard model with i7 2670, 8gb RAM, 650gb hdd

Which of you guys are going to get a new bag to house your new G? I'm thinking of selling the one Asus gave and get another one that actually fits.

Suggestions? Budget should be round RM150.

The Bag asus give actually fits. It even fit 2 laptop at once(inclusive G53). I'm not sure if RM150 could get a proper 17" Bag pack. At least RM190 for Aw Orion Backpack from viper88, which is a pretty good deal if u ask me.

You sure? The G1 bagpack, yknow. How did you get your G53SX to fit inside? Mine, the corners of the laptop sticks out. Any specific ways to put it in? It'll be great if you let me know, i would love to use the bagpack cuz it's nicely padded.

ahh.. finally. mom's friend called and said last two units available. will be getting my unit in two-three days time model ill be getting is G53SX-IX113, upgrading to 16gb ram. was thinking of changing to 7200rpm hdd but the fuss of getting the OS etc.. meh, next time lol. by the way i don't think the 3DE model is available in Malaysia yet?

that is the 3D model.. different region have diffrent namings for the 3d model

in msia its ix113, in US its 3DE

everything become turbo if SSD ... 5400 to 7200 rpm not so turbo..

check the benchmark for the hard drive, WD has a 5400rpm hdd that performs the same as other 7200rpm hard drives. no point switching to 7200rpm if there's no real world changes.

ok now im confused. why do most of the shops sell the g53sx with only 650gb hdd and then now there is this Asus G53SX-3D with 2x500gb hdds? which is which actually?

The non-3D comes with 2 500GBs. the 3DE comes with 650GB. It's not that hard to understand.

asus is very hard to understand 1 ... they say got naked eye 3d... but i no see naked eye.. only naked girl in 3d..

I read from Asus Malaysia Facebook page, they are not bringing in Naked Eye 3D version of ROG series to Malaysia for time being.

because this is msia.........all samsung,apple always give us a very LATE released date for all their new products and also updates....
i believe ASUS is following their step~~~~~~~~~
