Hye guys..I know this might be off topic but I guess since a lot of u buy stuff from the UK, just trying my luck to ask here..dunno where else to ask..

I want to buy some football related DVD from the UK..the stores and ebay offer me Royal Mail Airmail (Small Packets) or Royal Mail International Signed-for..I know Royal Mail International Signed-for is safe but has anyone used Royal Mail Airmail (Small Packets) before? I dont think it has a tracking code right but will it arrive safely? has anyone bout any DVD's from the UK before? N if anyone has any stores they can recommend to get these football DVD's, I am very grateful to u..

Royal Mail Airmal (small packets) is basically the normal airmail without tracking number, it is not recommended to use such service because the probability of lost package is pretty high, sadly i have to say this. For ISF, its a service which you just top up GBP4.95 on top of Airmail (small packets) cost, you can track at Royal Mail website up to the point it leaves UK, afterthat you have to use that tracking no. and call to Pos M'sia KLIA to obtain the tracking no. for domestic delivery, you can reach them at either 03-87871122 or 03-87872020, after you obtain the tracking no. you can track it at http://www.pos.com.my/pos/appl/service/sub...stered_mail.asp

You have no problem to buy DVD's from UK, but please bear in mind that they are in region code 2, which is different from Malaysia which is in region code 3. Some player which is coded will not compatible with the DVD's, unless you have decoded your player. As for player that is uncoded, you wouldn't have any problem to play the DVD's

Yes Iam aware of that and thank you for reminding me.. I had a friend to buy me DVD's from the UK (Region 2 ) before and I was able to watch them on my Toshiba DVD player so I guess it's ok..thanks for the reminder.

whoopa: Personally, I've never faced much problems with non-registered shipping especially with Kitbag. I am from Singapore however. Risks that you will potentially face in the event the item is lost would be lost time and perhaps the jersey you fancied being out of stock.
They however do resend or refund you in such a case but this would take time as well.

thanks GT, I kept my eye on it when I saw it then, and their small and xlarge shirts have sold out it seemed shortly thereafter now... here in the USA most online shops are still selling that one around full retail...while things like ARG , BRA, MEX, etc from world cup 2010 can be found like USD 30 or so exc. shipping...Cheers!
