You have no problem to buy DVD's from UK, but please bear in mind that they are in region code 2, which is different from Malaysia which is in region code 3. Some player which is coded will not compatible with the DVD's, unless you have decoded your player. As for player that is uncoded, you wouldn't have any problem to play the DVD's  smile.gif

Yes Iam aware of that and thank you for reminding me.. I had a friend to buy me DVD's from the UK (Region 2 ) before and I was able to watch them on my Toshiba DVD player so I guess it's ok..thanks for the reminder.

tak imba la haha!Make sure is a chinese boy only call..who knows someone else might have the same shirt like me tongue.gif
Erm..just because I felt that its fitting to tribute a jersey to our long serving manager..and the sign was meant to be the infinity sign just like wht bro herelism said, I did that because I felt no.1 - 99 does not fit him(somemore I wanted special sikit tongue.gif ) thus the infinity sign lo..and I have la some money to spare on jersey..just not as much as fellow jersey collectors here for sure tongue.gif

aaa..now I get it..sorry if i sounded so noob..yeah..its fitting for Mr Wenger I agree..at first I thought the 8 horizontally looked liked a pair of spectacles but Mr Wenger has stopped wearing them rite? He has worn them before if IINM..anyways, its fitting so its cool bro!!!

Can someone give me some advice..I have bout something using Royal Mail's International Signed-For so I have a tracking code which I have tracked through Royal Mail's website..

I have bought items from the UK before and used the same delivery method..the thing is I just never know how to track them once it has been passed on to Pos Malaysia..I know I can track it through Pos Malaysia's website but which category do I search it under? PosLaju? Pos Daftar? e-Parcel? The previous times I have tried tracking my item under every category, it never seems to be in the records..heck, there have been cases when my item has arrived in my hands, yet it still has never been in the records of Pos Malaysia..

I know some would advice me to call Pos Malaysia KLIA and ask but is there any other way that I can check manually? Which caegory should I track the item under?

Thanks in advance..

Can I ask something..if buy something from ebay, using standard delivery from the UK, how long should we give for the item considered lost? and is there any options for reclamation if the items go missing like kitbag offers? Should I contact the seller for it or would they reject our claim if the items go missing in Malaysia..

thanks

Hello everyone..

I need some help..I have just won a case against one ebay seller who tried to rip me off..he first agreed to send an item using Royal Mail International Signed-For (recorded delivery) if my bid was successful..When I did win the bid (it was just for a Newcastle Polo top for 3.20 pounds) the seller issued me an invoice stating the items would be sent using standard delivery..I contacted him requesting him to issue a new invoice which went unanswered so I paid for the standard delivery coz there is a rule stating payment for items must be made in a certain time..

and I also asked for the seller to notify me once the item is dispatched..which he did not do..so I decided to bring up my case with ebay since item has never arrived and the seller was non responsive..ebay gave him 10 days to respond from the day that the case was open..once that 10 days was up, ebay contacted me to find out whether the seller made any contact..which he didnt..and ebay promise to review the case and give a decision in 72 hours..but 24 hours later they made the decison and I won the cae.. I could have lived with the fact the item might have been lost due to the postal services in Malaysia since I have experience of losing items using standard delivery..but the fact the seller was being such an ass made me fed up and report the case..

Anyways, I have just won my case and ebay have decided to issue me a full refund..it may seem a little amount..only 8.20 pounds but try convert that to RM and I get back my RM40 plus..

Anyways, my issue is ebay transferred the money back into my PayPal account..my question is, if it is in my PayPal account, do I need to transfer it manually back to my Maybank account or is it transferred automatically?

Thanks in advance to any replies..sorry for the long post..just wanted to share my personal experience..

Best is to re-use that paypal money for future purchases.

You can transfer out the money if you have visa debit/credit card at the atm machine. But it's not worth it since there is some extra charge (because the total amount of money being drawn out is less than a certain limit amount).
I thought you were still referring to the issue of it being made in china since you said earlier: 2000-01 MU Home jersey UMBRO. FAKE??

I used my Maybank debit card and linked it to my PayPal account..so does it mean the money is only in the PaPyal account? I fo then I think i will leave it there then for future use smile.gif

Normally how ebay purchases are refunded is that the money goes back to the paypal account.. not direct to your maybank debit card or maybank account.

Now you can withdraw the money from your paypal account and transfer the money direct to your bank.. all banks in Malaysia now can do that.

After you login to paypal... go to "Profile" and select "Add/Edit Bank Account".

So you can move your funds (money) inside your paypal account to any account bank that you have.

But still.. the withdraw limit still applies.. must be above RM400 to be free... and again, the exchange rate that paypal uses is not exact based on the actual current exchange rate... so you will still lose some Ringgit when it is moved out to your bank account or through you ATM.

Best is to re-use that money.

I won my case against on problematic ebay seller..once u open up a case with ebay, they will contact the seller straight away..they will give the seller 10 days to contact u to solve the problem..if the seller does not do so in the 10 given days, ebay will ask u again whether the seller has contacted u or not..if he hasnt then ebay will ask u whether u want them to proceed with the refund or not..they will ask for 72hours for them to review ur case and refund u the money should u win..but I got my money back within 24 hours..money went straight back to PayPal account and in the following 2 3 days it will go back into ur Maybank account..

So do open up a case with ebay with the reason being that ur parcel hasnt arrived yet and the seller is not communicating with u..

There are some differences only, such as
1. you don't need to disclose your card information to Kitbag if you use PayPal
2. favourable exchange rate using your credit/debit card directly
3. buyer protection by PayPal in case of item lost

Now im in dilemma..no 2 makes me wanna use debit card..but no 3 gives me the safety comfort..but no 2 also can have protection and can claim for refund right?
