Sorry about this fellow collectors, how convenient is ordering online with Kitbag for replica jersey/shirt, without the name and number customization for shirt to be sent to USA?. They seem to have advertised one shirt in stock that I am interested in purchasing. Reviews about their name and numbering service is somewhat less than stellar. Is their service for replicas w/o customization better? I've seen some reviews online randomly of customers complaining about shipping/CS communication delays....Useful input is greatly appreciated.

I have had printed jerseys done through Kitbag and they were fine.
I guess the issue mostly complained is with customized EPL jerseys with PU printings.
As for delays, it really depends if the item you want is really high in demand, otherwise, they do despatch the item pretty quickly upon confirmation.
Overall, Kitbag is still one of the best online stores you can get your jerseys through.
Hope it helps smile.gif

thanks GaryTan, appreciate your input...yes, I've seen the "complaints" from customers on various collecting forums, about EPL stuff specifically as you mentioned...guess I'll give them a try then, the shirt I have keen interest from there is priced so much of a bargain that only thing that really concerns me is that my debit card information is kept secure accordingly. Cheers!

Kitbag has just launched the authentic version Brazil home kit.
Gbp99, its long sleeve however.
Not really digging the green "download bar".

Thanks for the heads-up, friend...Looks like Brazil is pulling a Spain and sort of a France by coming out with a new kit design again, already?!?!

cause its authentic version but I do agree, gbp99 is too exorbitant.
the previous authentic version has fallen to gbp49, so its basically a waiting game.

oh, what a shame, super/mega/ultrarare/limited edition exclusive authentic version falling to near rock bottom to replica jersey price level....not only is it a high price again, but a slap in the face to many collectors I reckon, who paid full retail price for the WC 2010 version Brasil and then now releasing a new jersey again.

take a look at the france authentic version: http://www.soccerbible.com/news/football-s...ntic-shirt.aspx
Just the box itself is sheer beauty.

It's good I suppose, but for that, some of the left-over wc2010 France replicas home and away can be bought now at very rock-bottom prices...
And, I've seen some of your collections on the other website GaryTan, very nicely done..

I have seen that Weston is selling a replica football shirt that I have some interest. How much does their int'l express shipping delivery cost to ship to USA, just one jersey?

thanks

thanks GT, I kept my eye on it when I saw it then, and their small and xlarge shirts have sold out it seemed shortly thereafter now... here in the USA most online shops are still selling that one around full retail...while things like ARG , BRA, MEX, etc from world cup 2010 can be found like USD 30 or so exc. shipping...Cheers!

ok, for the very knowledgeable collectors, so who's next on the list for new National team kits already, and not even near 1 year removed from last World Cup? Already Spain, Brazil, France, now Argentina...I may have missed a few here and there...anyone out there know?

There is no specific measurement. Best is to refer to photos and align them accordingly as you prefer.... it's subjective.
I would advise to everyone to avoid using standard delivery for kitbag/united direct nowadays...
I agree...unless you know the squads kitman or some special useful direct first-hand information on how it is typically done...unfortunately it's difficult to know these hings exactly, look at Ghana away for the world cup for example, very different from one match to next on the small front number...but yes, do come up with a methodology based on how you think it appears...and be careful, some of these retailers out there who do this service will just carelessly place names number in position that nowhere near resembles anything that remotely seems or appear "correct"....and if unsatisfied you would have a hard time convincing an argument to have a refund/exchange, and consider yourself lucky if you do get compensated fairly if really unsatisfied with results...that's why we gotta respect the DIY'ers that are willing to go for the glory their own way biggrin.gif

just a thought, is the printing in any way misaligned?
maybe it's just the positioning of the shirt.

hard to say, it'd help if the shirt was laying flat on a level surface instead of hanging..but what methods are actually really out there to create/ensure pefect alignment?

Can I ask something..if buy something from ebay, using standard delivery from the UK, how long should we give for the item considered lost?

thanks
*
this information can be found in ebays website for buyer and seller guideline/rules...but the seller using standard without insisting on proof of delivery received service is like giving away the item these days in ebay shakehead.gif

it's like doing repairs on an automobile that's been involved in an accident, you know you can try and fix it but it's never going to be the same as before like it should be...probably the worst is the apparent shadow or marking of glue residue or area where the heat and glue was applied, that's just for starters . Good luck!

Lit_ching is correct... the starball is terbalik (upside down)...

So terrible la the QOS from kitbag..
*
just echoing now reasons DIY NN can be the way to go really...because if you try and complain to kitbag or whomever can just get the run-around and wastes time. it may not be like what it looks like what players wear but how can you prove is really 100% wrong?..its nice to get official stuff from official store, but it's a big letdown when quality is below average...my 2008 Bayern CL Lahm the nameset is a good one inch or so off-center...not very noticeable unless looking with sharp vision/eyesight keen on knowing how to look for such things..and was ordered from FC Bayern online shop.

if we get the jersey from UD and the nameset or patches are printed badly, can we get change a new one..?? and make sure they place the badges all correct..??
*
maybe worth a try but you could have hard time convincing printings placement are not "correct"(which is very likely the situation), just because it doesn't look like what you see what the players wear..therefore I wouldn't bother with it if it were me, but would avoid dealing with them in that dept. for awhile...that's just my opinion.

You can just do a comparison between what is shown on the product's image on the website and how yours actually looks. Should be worth a try if the discrepancy is very obvious.
*
it's frustrating don't get me wrong, that it doesn't look like the ad pics or what the players wear. some places even show these ad pics of name for nn jersey, where pic shows accent, umlaut, etc on name. but what you receive in hand might not have these details on the nameset on your shirt...and you would be told that you cannot refund since it is customised item, all sales final(fine print/small print type details in customer policy loophole ...)

if i buy from UD with UCL nameset + patches, can i tell them not to printed on the jersey.. just plain jersey and loose nameset + patches.. because i want to print it by myself and to avoid any wrong position..
*
that would be nice and if can execute DIY NN successfully. but what might not make it worthwhile for UD for example or anyone else, would be customer that complain because something went wrong/unsatisfactory in the DIY process...or customer complaining that loose nameset or patches were missing from the parcel, etc for example...then at that point probably not worth the headache for these retailers.

Agreed.. like last time i order the england home.. the front number wrongly printed on the left, they refunded..

But for the france home.. my NN is slim version one.. not as the kitbag nor actual player picture show, but they refuse to refund as they claim that was official item even not as what player picture shown..

chances is 50-50.. another funny things from kitbag... lolz..
*
that narrow/slim nn adidas scares me. it is ok for name like mertesacker, but for messi name for example, not so much...

bought this long sleeve liverpool third 08/09. just wore it once. last night when i tried to wear them for the second time. and notice the S and E word stick between them. suddenly this happened. damn you Adidas! cry.gif i know its just a small issue. but still. sad.gif

Small issue but comes across as pretty cheap quality..yet the likes of Nike and Adidas feel the need to release new kits yearly as of late, which for me is like a slap in the face for what they're charging. And it's really not so much with having to do with whether I am able to comfortably afford to buy kits or not. Cheers! Happy Collecting!
