those are DIY patches made by HK seller.

but from the JCs points of view, there is nothing wrong to apply it on your jersey because there was no original production patch that sell for public.

and FYI, wiggy's vintage NNs are DIY as well.so if u think it's fine to apply
wiggy's NNs to your jersey, why not to this patch.

The problem is the Champions 93/94 patches should be velvet type and there was original released, not the DIY embroidered one as per above smile.gif

I saw the 93/94 in ebay b4, bidded up to 50 pounds..

The DIY one is way cheaper, can it be used on our jersey?

sorry,my bad ..i thought it was 92/93 sweat.gif

what lit_ching said is true..start from 93/94, all patches are valvet not embroidered..but if u want to get 92/93 champions patch,u can choose the embroidery/DIY one..

the reason why we use DIY patch is because the there was no original released for it.same case to 92/93 champions patch.

and i dont think it's good to use DIY 93/94 when it has the original released.

The CHAMPIONS 1993-1994 patches were only lextra and was used by Man United during the 1994-1995 season:

Only during the 1993-1994 season (first time ever a 'CHAMPIONS' EPL patches was introduced) that the CHAMPIONS EPL patches was embroidered:

The embroidered patches that faizhassan showed... only the normal epl patches (with the blue lion) is acceptable.... the champions one is not accurate since the CHAMPIONS 1993-1994 patches were only lextra ones (as used by Man United in the 1994-1995 season).

To be honest... only the CHAMPIONS 1993-1994 patches is confirmed to be only lextra...

But that's not the case for the normal blue lion EPL patches.. this is because even during the 1994-1995 season... there are teams still using the embroidered blue epl lion patches, even though during that season... there are already other teams starting to use lextra patches...

For instance... Tottenham and Liverpool were still using the embroidered blue lion patches in the 1994-1995 season...

Here's a match worn spurs jersey worn in 1994-1995 season:

*notice that both are long sleeves.... only player issues have long sleeves..

Now look at the patches applied onto both jerseys as shown above:

You can see that they are embroidered.. not lextra. Some EPL teams also took the extra mile by stitching the patches (to ensure that they don't peel off.. since I assume the kitman doesn't want this and they want to re-use the jersey as frequent as possible)

Here's a Liverpool home worn in 1994-1995 season:

Notice the adidas logo inside the number is lettered adidas only? This is proof that the jersey was worn in the 94-95 season. Liverpool's jersey (and arsenal when they last used adidas) in the 93-94 season had adidas equipment logo inside the number like this:

Look closely at the epl patches at both shirts.. you can see that it is embroidered type.. not lextra.

Re:Jerseyman

Sigh.. I was in a rush the other day, so didn't really check the photos i showed to the guy. Done the FINAL MOSCOW. The photos i showed him was wrong, i didn't realize so completely my fault. I actually took the photo from this thread.. lol.. The whole wording is fine, only thing wrong is the 21ST MAY.

The correct one is 21ST MAY.. all capital letters.

But mine was 21st May. cry.gif cry.gif

@faizhassan

confirmed that Real Madrid Away is fake, dodgy tags. As for the France and the Argentina, looks ok from afar, maybe you can request for additional pics of tags, etc.

RM away looks fake. The other two (France and Arg) should request for tags. Cant tell without those. The Argentina one, there are a lot of DIY repros around. So cant conclusively tell at all. But at least have to see the tag first - some dont even have the tags or have other generic brand tags (ie not Le Coq Sportif's).

I overlooked on the france retro jersey and it looks dodgy especially at the FFF logo... so I rule that one out.

And also the argentina one... hard to tell....
