AF for all SCB CCs (except old SCB VI which was open to non-PB customers) can easily be waived upon request.

to answer your question - I guess it depends on what type of cards and how much you spend with your Citibank card.

From my experience, the last two year they did waive the annual fees of my Clear Card but I have cancelled it.

There are so many cards with free annual fees with and without conditions.

Click here and go check out the table showing some cards giving free annual fees.

Difficult but not impossible.... depends how much the bank value you as a customer ....
From this thread, we heard of
1. MBB gives away 10,000 TreatPoints
2. SCB gives away 11,000 ChoicePoints

I am not asking you to go apply for many cards lah tongue.gif Apply for the card that you think will benefit you most. Some banks might reject you and some may not.

Whoa hi ronnie been a while since i saw u =D.

Have a quetion guys. Im currently using AMEX gold + Sony Gold Card, both from Maybank.

Now i'd jus want to swap this two for the new Maybankard 2. What would be the easiest way to go about? Just fax them with all the documents, wait to receive the card, THEN cancel the current card? Or must i cancel first only im allowed to apply?

thanks all! ^^

Guys, i would like to know about easy payment. Let say i just made a purchase of RM 10K, and i would like to pay back my CC debts monthly installment. Currently holding CIMB Gold card, I saw CIMB website offer Smart i-Pay Plan. Should I make the call to convert my payment on the spot after swipe my card or wait for a few day then call to them? Do i have to give any information to convert the purchase receipt?

the conversion can be done once the transaction has been posted (1-3 days usually).

need to wait about 3 days. the easiest way is if u have cimbclicks then check recent transaction, if posted already then can convert.

convert can be done via sms ~
