AF for all SCB CCs (except old SCB VI which was open to non-PB customers) can easily be waived upon request.

to answer your question - I guess it depends on what type of cards and how much you spend with your Citibank card.

From my experience, the last two year they did waive the annual fees of my Clear Card but I have cancelled it.

There are so many cards with free annual fees with and without conditions.

if you have read previous posts, many that qualify for OCBC Titanium got rejected but Chemistry got his approved and his annual income less than requirement.

I am not asking you to go apply for many cards lah  Apply for the card that you think will benefit you most. Some banks might reject you and some may not.
