sorry if u misunderstand my post bro. like i said, it was an honest question.

if i wanna read up on liverpool news or matters, i come to this thread, only to find all these bashing about man utd...so where do i get my liverpool news?

i like football, especially the epl so obviously ill 'lurk' ard all the footie threads...i mean, if u wanna project that u guys are the better set of supporters than man utd fans, dont u think u can achieve that by not going overboard with the man utd hating? i mean, doestnt it smell of hypocrite?

look, the way i see it, u can either take my post as an honest discussable point, or u can close one eye and report me as being a troll...but seriously i believe this feud should end. ok maybe if u believe that man utd fans are stoopid, thats ur opinion and i can respect that, but by 'hating' man utd through your post, ur only mirroring man utd fans dontcha think? but hey, ur theread, ur choise of discussions right...

its a pity cos some of good friends are liverpool fans and we get along on everything except football...i hate it, dont u?

har har har bro, funny but thats not the point laa tongue.gif

i believe that not all liverpool fans are shaite, some here share info, knowledge and views and thats greatly appreciated. but man utd fans are also like this. not all is crap like how we are known to the world. we may be arrogant now, but so were u guys 2 seasons back when u nearly won the title, and so was chelsea during mourinho days, and so was arsenal in the mid 90's...we r all the same but the small group off ppl that takes it to the extreme...

all im saying is that we can get along, question is, do we want to...or do we prefer to remain in this hating shell whisch is more fun ?

Seem like getting Suarez service is fading away. But it is ok because I don't think Suarez is worth that much. 25million asking price from Ajax is exaggerated. I would rather King Kenny get someone else from KOP academy.

4am? aiyark, again. Fulham will pose much different threat than Wolves but with Schwarzer missing, that might be a boost for Liverpool.

Who is Sotol? Then i must watch the game. would like to see how KD going to use Gerrard and Cole to produce a devastating effect on Fulham. on the other hand, make sure the defenders able to stop Clint Dempsey.

His popularity is rising due to his quality proven playing with ajax. Three consecutive seasons as Ajax top scorer which each season more than 25 goals. I know Holland league not what it used to be like the era of Bergkamp and Gullit but that is still an incredible feat. few top players dominating EPL also from Holland league ; Sami Hyypia, Jaap Stam, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Gullit, Van der vaart.

plus Suarez is a proven footballer. maybe not in EPL but in holland and Uruguay, he is. maybe KD see something in him that we don't. Yeah, his price tag is ohh la la.

Off babel goes to his new club and I find it amusing that we let him goes without getting a replacement 1st. The squad is already thin enough...

Charlie Adam special attributes is his passing ability especially long range and set piece. Probably KD don't feel either Gerrard, Meireles, Lucas, Poulsen, Shelvey and Spearing aren't good enough. who knows right? currently KD using all players available in his disposal. This january transfer window is his chance to buy that he choose. not the players ready in the squad.
yeah. agreed. Adam long range accurate passing would be useful to create chances. especially during corners. He can feed wingers with his passing which is very vital. just like what Blackpool are doing now.
*
There are only 2 real passers in the team; Gerrard and Aurelio. The rest are decent but none are as good at striking a dead ball like the ones i mentioned. Aurelio's fitness has been a real question mark and Gerrard's consistency has been quite an issue as of late. My feeling is that Daglish prefers Lucas over Poulsen as the defensive CM but has to play Lucas alongside Poulsen because Spearing and Jonjo are still a bit raw. I think the combination of Lucas, Meireles and Adam in the CM will give us a lot of mobility and their overall passing skills will allow us to once again dominate possession and penetrate even the most defensive stubborn teams.

Then, I thought Meireles' passing was quite good as well?

He's good but he's no where near as good as Gerrard and Aurelio. Meireles doesnt strike the ball as clinically as Aurelio does. Im pretty sure that Aurelio has been taking up setpieces even when Meireles is on the pitch.

quite good for 10-20 yard pass..long passes inconsistent..plus his vision is not as good as xabi or adam..one thing he's good at...scoring goals from outside the box! thumbup.gif

The polis bloke has a point. some of the posters here need to take a good long look in the mirror.

As with any others, I too am worried that we seem to be thinning out the squad even further, but at the same time happy that we are not being held hostage to other clubs' demands anymore... and the fact that everyone seems to think that we do indeed have money to gift. Feels good this.

Also it is refreshing to see that the club seems to be back doing things behind closed doors, with very little being let out to the public - transfer news seems to have been deliberately controlled, with the media only being told about things when the club has something to gain. We are back to manipulating the media, and not the media manipulating us nod.gif

Let's get behind the team and give EVERY player the famous Liverpool support then eh and see if they can dig us out of this hole.

Respect, Unity, Trust & Patience.

Meireles is well known as an all rounder box-to-box midfielder back in Portugal...similar mold as a young Gerrard where he can take long shots, make good passes, mobile and able to track back players to help the defence.

His passing and vision may not be as good as Alonso or Adam...but he's passes aren't bad either. And I hope he improves over time because for a midfielder he's still young at 27. Most midfielders peak at 29-31 years of age. tongue.gif

In short, he's the jack of all trades! He's sure hardworking by running his socks off and mobile, which probably why Kenny, Woy, and us fans like him...like how we like Dirk Kuyt.

I am staying up for the game tonight . YNWA !. Fulham seems weakened by with Zamora, Senderos, Etuhu and Briggs, with keeper Mark Schwarzer still involved in the Asian Cup. The only absentee's for us is Carragher. The squad welcomes the Captain for tonight's match. Hope his does gets back his form and cruise on.

If we can grab all three points tonight , we will move to 7th, 6 points behind Spurs in 5th and 9 points behind Chelsea in 4th.
