Maybe we could sign a new player or two this season, but there is not complete MUST that we sign a new player. Everybody is playing well under Kenny Dalglish so far, and even the likes of Spearing and Kelly is getting their chances. Remember that he still havent get Joe Cole and Ngog playing much yet, especially Joe Cole. Suso and Coady also was upgraded to play with the seniors.

Maybe our owners want to emulate Arsenal/Barca way by pushing up their youth ranks first? Maybe Comolli was told to buy players at a discount, but if there is no discount then just leave it? Only they know, we fans can only guess...

Charlie Adam special attributes is his passing ability especially long range and set piece. Probably KD don't feel either Gerrard, Meireles, Lucas, Poulsen, Shelvey and Spearing aren't good enough. who knows right? currently KD using all players available in his disposal. This january transfer window is his chance to buy that he choose. not the players ready in the squad.

yeah. agreed. Adam long range accurate passing would be useful to create chances. especially during corners. He can feed wingers with his passing which is very vital. just like what Blackpool are doing now.

On the penalty, it should be a penalty but too bad the referee position wasn't good enough. his position was pacing the backs of both involved players which i think he migt have thought Rafael make contact with the ball first before bumping into Varney.

As for the goals, the linesman did their job well. all three players were onside when the ball was played to them. Nani to Fletcher, Giggs to Hernandez, and Scholes to Berbatov, all 3 was not offside. they was on the same line with Blackpool defence. that's the risk of trying to play offside trap.

The new owners made it clear that they want to emulate Arsenal's style. Either we buy cheap and build them or we generate players from our youth academy. Arsene Wenger has good sense in managing his football team, He believes the future of the football club is based on the youths today. Instead of splashing out cash on players who might not even worth their money when they arrive. Like Joe Cole who was a big hype and anticipation for all of us but didn't deliver at all. We got lucky he was a free agent. If we don't get any new players this transfer window considering there's only 5 days left, it's ok, we generate our own players and turn them into key players. Make use of what we have now instead of moaning about what we don't have. There are many players in Liverpool, there's bound to be one that will fill whatever position that's vacant.
