timing and form can be deciding factor on some matches biggrin.gif

yeah. when u might win the first game against team A, it might not be the same when u meeting team A again few months after the first meeting. It will be a bonus if u can do double against the same team but agree with u on this. Just look at when MU beat Birmingham 5-0. last time MU drew with Birmingham 1-1. Just one month apart from their first meeting.

i duno how true is tat.. but come on, €15m [£12.7m] is far too low for his calibre doh.gif , plus he's young... i tot v offered 20m euro instead of 15m?
Place €20m on the table and suarez is ours...
the owner henry, pls dun disappoint us~~  ohmy.gif

£12.7m is quite low. Even Elia is cost more than that. Even Darren Bent are more expensive.

From what i see, Comolli is like an aunty going bargaining in Pasar Pagi/Malam...always wanting to buy players below their value a lot....no wonder the Ajax and Blackpool camp are pissed off. tongue.gif

thats the problem when market is based on loose evaluation while our auntie comolli is using stats... is like you go pasar ikan and bargain with the auntie saying the fish is worth this and that based on length, eye color, gills condition etc etc laugh.gif

Our "auntie comolli" was responsible for identifying stars like Gareth Bale and Luka Modric amongst others. He tries to get young players at good value and turn them into prized assets. Reminds me of the mighty Reds whose scouts once identified talents like Emlyn Hughes and Kevin Keegan (and many others) from the backwaters and turned them into household names.

Additionally, I love seeing Dalglish giving these youngsters (both homegrown and acquired) their opportunities on the playing field.

These are all positives for our team, but of course, there could be hiccups along the way..

Although I like Suarez and I think he Might become a big player at one day.
But at the moment I feel that he don't worth 30m euros.

I like comolli style, take it or leave it. Going into market to rush for a sales will certainly end up paying more than market price. is it because of we have new owner and we are big clubs, so we have to pay more?

Suarez should be somewhere around 18m euros and charlie Adams for 6-8m pounds. That's it. There's still many other players available mah.

Sweet. Do give us a full account of your trip here when you get back.

As for turning Poulsen into Alonso, well at 31 he is already pretty much the finished article.

I didn't underestimate him la. It may piss off the sellers, but actually bargaining @ aunty in pasar attitude is good to save up cash for other uses. Plus King Kenny is right...the market is so inflated now (e.g. Darren Bent), most smaller/medium clubs wants lots of moneh for their players to build themselves up. Thats why our potential targets Suarez, Llorente, Adam maybe overpriced by their clubs.

It'll be good if we can get a player or two, but most importantly we are moving forward. The likes of Torres, Meireles, Johnson, Agger, Kelly and even Poulsen is improving under King Kenny. King Kenny has also yet to rebuild Joe Cole and Gerrard is just back from his 3 match ban. smile.gif

Comolli undervaluating players? Part of negotiations mah.

Comolli : "Eh, the fella how much ah?"
Manager : "You tell me how much you want to pay lah"
Comilli : "Like that ah, $1 million lah"
Manager : *Cough* "Siao ah?!?! He's worth at least $10 million".

So now, both floor and ceiling prices have been established and at least now, both parties move the scale from between $1 and $10 million. He knows Blackpool need the money in the case of Adams.

Raul Meireles last game is abt 80% of Alonso last season at Anfield.

Come next season he will be 200% of the Alonso's peak at Anfield if there is an apparatus to measure him.

KD, is really Good, we will see.............

Yea...digilife, alonso admitted he is one of the slowest and less mobile player in LFC previously, while Meireles/Gerrard/Aquilani are players who are always on the move and looking for forward runs and does well in tracking back players for defensive duties. Meireles, Gerrard and Aqua are more similar to each other rather than Alonso.

Speaking of Aqua, I think he'd do well under King Kenny...as his style is always passing and moving anyways. But too bad Juventus prolly gonna buy him up. :/

Holloway mentioned that somewhere that Adam is at least worth a quarter of what Bent is. So I guess we will get him at 6 million or less. Plus he has a soft spot for Liverpool but he has to be seen as unbiased, no? cool2.gif

i dont know how can we accomodate gerrard, meireles and aquaman in the same midfield. unless we play 352 or play jerat as 2nd striker behind toles. if so then suarez (if we buy) will sit on the bench? unless you are talking about jerat playing winger again... 3412 maybe?
