Hi all,

Wanna ask, since SB's chipsets are faulty and can only be fixed/changed in march or april, are there any alternatives? i know that acer and lenovo once sold quite well for their latest SB proc-laptop (e.g y540p). Are there any good AMD proc laptop out there that can withstand them? so far that i know of is that AMD been pushing APU tech but what about mainstream laptops?(phenom II). I'm asking because there's an urgent need of getting a good processor laptop with up to date specs( gaming/simulation/daily office/net surfing).

Please advice thx!!!

Yup, ASUS got a new batch of shipment in March. If March 8th is the date... I won't be surprised since SB is already fixed

HWM got review, but them Apple fanboys quite bad at reviewing things. Too brief.
Non-apple products give about 8~9. Apple all above 9. Non of their reviews are below 8.

Fuahhh.... Bought a thinkpad edge 11" the next day windows can't boot.

Send to thinkpad service center said normally take 3 days and now already more than a week zzzzzz.

Everyday engineer on leave, engineer not at desk...... Said is HDD error change a new HDD zzzz

Bought the notebook outstation... came back 2 weeks later and 2 weeks without notebook can't do any work.

Now they say the HDD need to order from the states not sure will take how long.

wahh HDD from the states!??!

1. Brand: Prefer Asus but any brand is fine also =)

2. Budget. 2500-3500

3. Specs. Need something that can run 10-16 games/applications at once including a browser to surf and sufficient ram for everything. Probably something that I can leave it on overnight most of the time.

4. Size. Does not matter heavy or not I don't mind because its gona replace my desktop for something more mobile
