putochip123, how many desktops do you own? Besides this Alienware Aurora, I remembered that you have one custom-made desktop, the one with GTX 580. I really wish that I can have such huge graphic performance at my disposal.

I assume you got it from AW's Ebay store? Coz last time they sell their older series' chasis over there~

their ebay store has been empty since the launch of the m17x-r1

they were getting rid of legacy systems like the area 51s or auroras desktop n laptop

How long does it take for an alienware to be assemble?

Well crysis 2 not that graphic demand. Metro 2033still take the lead. Gtx260m play well on crysis2 although can't Max out. And I don't see any huge different from Max it out compare to medium.

For crysis 2, there is a program out there right now that you can use to tweak the graphic setting, but there is not much difference in it.

So they changed my GTX 260M for a new GTX 260M.
3DMark 06 Benchmark is now only 7-8k.

The older forum members will recall that I used to break 12k when I first got the system....

WTF is going on?? (No "your stealth mode is on" BS plz)

From the separated point in 3dmark06, GPU or CPU still normal score ?

GPU SM2.0 used to be 5.3k, now only 3k something.
GPU HDR/SM3.0 used to be 5.6k, now only 2.6-2.8k.
CPU used to be solid 3k+, now only about 1.2-1.5k.

Checked BIOS and Power plan, Throttlestop etc. No effect.

But if I run the CPU test all by itself it's OK. 3k+.
