dude, you want to increase brightness you go to settings>display>brightness. There is no brightness tweak in speedmod kernel.

If you use the stock headphones, you would get better quality by reducing the gain.

R u sure its ok....coz ive been reading this thread and remember that somebody (same firmware like me) the battery can last up to 2 day & several hours! Thats y i tot mine not ok.

On the wifi, do i just use ODIN and then change the MODEM only or there is an actual way?

Btw, Ive already flash the speedmod k12l-500hz. Let see how long it will last this time....

i installed TW gtg with 5 docks..suddenly all my stock apps disappear from apps drawer...e.g contact, dialer..how can this happen?..how to revert back?

Maybe you can try other launcher and see if this is only TW gtg-5 docks issue. You can always restore your back-up TW launcher using SGS Tools>apply script

Few basic things to do is, set lower brightness, normally display is the one took the most battery life

Use 2G instead of 3G, the difference between these two is huge! 2G is enough for you to synce emails, whatsapp and facebook. Only change to 3G if you wan to watch youtube or browser internet that requires faster network speed.

To change to 2G, go settings - > Wireless and Network -> Mobile Networks -> Network Mode -> Choose GSM only

Then go market download spare parts, use it to check battery history, if your phone Running is very high or 100%, must be some apps that preventing your phone to go to sleep.

And remember to calibrate your battery if you just flash a new firmware.

To do this, drain your battery till close to 1%, reboot into recovery, find an option to delete batterystat

Then charge till 100%, leave it at charger for another half an hour, then delete batterystat again.

One more way i found recently.

Go market download Battery Doctor,

When your battery life lower than 20%, open the app, then plug in the charger. Leave the app open all the time during charging

Do this once every few weeks.

for the 2g mode.. i put the auto mode ( GSM / WCMDA ).. it can last me for 8 hrs oni.. if i put to GSM oni it can last 10 - 11 hrs.. is that normal for 2g mode?

if normal.. i didnt use anything within 10 hrs.. just whatapps oni..

btw what is ur average hrs?
