My usage from 100% to below 15% last me 20+ hours, and I consider myself quite a heavy user, with WIFI on 80% of the time, surfing, twitting, checking news, whatsapp, auto-syncing with 6 accounts, weather updates every 4 hours, location and gps always on, minimal calling and minimal sms.

Supposedly when u have enabled it, the led should lights up when u received sms. Have u tried to restart ur phone after enabled it? For a better control, I suggest u to use software to enable/disable bln. Its called BLN Control(free ver). The pro version (paid ver) allowed u to customized the blinking led,missed call notification and few other features. Search it in market!

very very strange issue u got there my friend,as for me my batt life can last for nearly 3 days with few calls and sms and also check for app update in market,FYI im on DXJPE with speedmod kernel and i recommend u to use ES task manager and place the widget on ur homescreen and always tap on it b4 u lock ur screen,as for me my min free ram is always 140++ mb when phone is idle and when i clear my task using ES task manager widget i surely get min 190++ mb free ram,just download it from market and u don't have to do any settings...trust me it really works and helps ur batt life

if your phone is new, let it charges for a few cycles, battery life will get better. also, remember to set ur WiFi sleep policy to "when screen turns off" if u use WiFi frequently

SGS is much tougher than you know, its super hard to brick if you have 3 button recovery

if u read the previous posts before, i think ken did mention about lagfix and somehow it doesnt affect much our sgs. its just for your user experience. lagfix can give you a better speed + good performance. i dont use any lagfix cause right now with darkyy rom, the speed with or w/o lagfix pun is just the same. still fast.
