Hello, i bought a GoVibe Peak from jaben last saturday, it works great on my 558, but i have an issue, when i place it on my table and i touch the surface of the body, there's alot of electro static on the body. When i lift up the amp from the table, the electro static is gone. This happened both at home and at work. Is this normal or should I return it to jaben for a replacement?

So when u don't touch it no more electrostatic? When will it has no electrostatic sound?

Later la....I want to find a few more hundred, so that history won't repeat itself(having to sell stuff again because of an unfortunate accident dry.gif ).
When are you gonna have an M9??
Well, if you still don't have red by the time I have found the extra money, I might as well take whatever you still have left. tongue.gif An Atrio is an Atrio(but must be the new mg7 laaa laugh.gif )

Not electrostatic sound, but actual electro static discharge from the metal surface of the Amp when i touch it with my fingers, even the volume knob has it, only happens when its place on the table, when lift up the metal surface feels fine.

maybe it's a condition called 'charge exchange'.......Haven't studied about electrostatics in a while, but that term somehow fits. laugh.gif

i have the govibe peak that i also bought from jaben (although jaben singapore, which i doubt it'd matter honestly) and i don't seem to have this problem. perhaps you could try it out on a different power outlet? or perhaps from a socket extension that have all that fancy grounding/fuse/insurance advertisement (lol belkin or something)

it seemed to me that its due to improper grounding on that particular socket/room/area. perhaps you can use that same amp and and goto your friend's house and test it out as well if possible.

If it is very serious and you have tried all existing solution, you can bring it back to our store to have a check.

Ahh.. comply tips - my eartip of choice when listening to my SM3/UM3X. They add more volume and depth to the lower frequencies, which I like. They tame the highs slightly but I don't mind. Most of all, I wear them for the comfort. With these particular tips, my earphones can stay on for ~5 hours (my longest listening session). I'm sure they can go on for longer but I've never tried. My only complain with the comply tips is their durability. They are prone to tear after some time. My first pair had a tear on one side after using it for 4 months.
