Funny I have the same problem too. Normal I guess?

Went to Jaben earlier today to purchase a HM-601 while auditioning Beyers T1. They both sounds great and hopefully I could come again for further audition since my stay was not long and without the music of my choice. Jaben's staff are friendly and knowledgeable about their products as usual, kudos to that.

However I'm facing a problem with the DAP. My PC can't detect it but my friend's PC can. I've tried resetting the DAP, uninstalling the driver, and tried on every USB ports I have but still the problem persist. Did a little Googling and it seems to be a rare problem. How should I tackle this problem? Please advise. I hope I don't have to resort using SD card since I have none atm.

I will probably try on my bro's PC later tonight to see if it can detect the DAP or my friend's PC again tomorrow or the day after, just in case. The firmware is version 0.06 if anyone asking.

My bro's PC can detect it. My bro is using Vista while me and my friend is Win7. I recall this is a common problem with DAPs/PMPs but I don't expect HM-601 to be acting like this.

Other PC is fine, I believe it's a problem on my end. Oh well.
