Try your luck with these little things.

VCCIO (input output) = new term for Front Side Bus voltage
VCCSA (system agent)= new term for North Bridge Voltage

Things are different for Sandy Bridge. So the closest match with old proc terms is what i mentioned i guess.

Hello guys , i would like to need some expert help here.

my spec is

2500k
p8p67 LE , I know its rubbish sad.gif
8gb ddr3 1600mhz ram
hd5850
odin pro550w psu.

on the first day i bought , my pc can survive auto tuning into 4ghz and Performance mode in bios.

but starting from yesterday , whenever i set my bios to boot into Performance mode , drivers started to crash.

and also , my pc kept on and off then on back and runs normally whenever i on my pc.

i suspect the culprit is my PSU , Possible guys?

cause last time I oc my rig with this same PSU , my previous mobo already kong....

Having issues booting Win7 x64 with multi x50 and above. It will stuck at win logo most of the times, randomly. Somehow can boot everytime into WinXP x64 til x54. Hmm either buggy bios or Win7 need a patch for 5Ghz+. Another issue is my dram is not natively support for P67 mobos. Cant do 2133Mhz on UD7, but Maximus is doable.

the problem solved with new bios 0802? i tried, but failed.

i have the same setup like you, for starters use the following settings.

ai overclock -> manual
bclk/peg frequency -> 100.0
turbo ratio -> by all cores
by all cores -> 40
memory frequency -> ddr3-1600mhz
offset mode sign -> -
cpu offset voltage -> 0.145
cpu spread spectrum -> disabled

advanced -> cpu configuration:
cpu ratio -> 33
cpu c1e -> disabled
cpu c3 report -> disabled
cpu c6 report -> disabled

monitor -> cpu fan profile -> turbo

i found that it gives me the highest possible scores at 4GHz at the lowest cpu voltage.

you can download intelburn test 2.5 to test your processor stability and your speed in gigaflops.

before you set the above values into your bios, test with intelburn test first to see what your scores are like and also for comparison use later. if it pops up a message telling you the processor is unstable, then no need to finish the intelburn test, go into your bios and set the above values.

auto tuning is really not recommended because it pumps too much voltage into the processor thus causing significantly higher temperatures so it makes the processor unstable.

should be good to go, i have 1.184v core voltage readings in cpu-z at idle. your core voltage is a bit high i think.

by the way, i am also hitting 55 gigaflops at 4GHz.

your temperatures are quite good, do you use an aftermarket cooler?

hi guys,

plan to play with some mid end sandy bridge, any good mobo to recommend ?

since no longer playing bclk, do mobo quality still counts ? or i can OC high on CPU with any midrange board rm600-800 board.

about ram, do old ddr3 such as psc chips still playable in P67 ?

sry noob questions, been away from OC for some times. laugh.gif
