should be good to go, i have 1.184v core voltage readings in cpu-z at idle. your core voltage is a bit high i think.

by the way, i am also hitting 55 gigaflops at 4GHz.

your temperatures are quite good, do you use an aftermarket cooler?

mine 0.856v when idle LOL

hi guys,

plan to play with some mid end sandy bridge, any good mobo to recommend ?

since no longer playing bclk, do mobo quality still counts ? or i can OC high on CPU with any midrange board rm600-800 board.

about ram, do old ddr3 such as psc chips still playable in P67 ?

sry noob questions, been away from OC for some times.  laugh.gif

how high is high for u? its mostly depends on the cpu itself i think nowdays my chip takes alot of vcore for 5 ghz, some ppl in taiwan reported 2nd batch hitting 5.5 ghz

I hv more hopes for Asus since shamino left EVGA for Asus.
Look at M4E bios setting there's an option for 2400MHz dram, it looks promising for dram ocing. Without this guy EVGA was nothing special.
The double triple post on Giga board, actually happens to Asus as well, when im on multi 50x onwards, it means unstable OC.
