Wrong. Prior to 2014, minimum threshold for foreign buyers was only RM500,000 per unit.

Not all foreigners are financially strong as what you thought, especially those categories who were financially tight and could only afford to buy RM500K properties.

Tis mirage condo easily beat other rivals as auction king already......so many units on lelong.

Funny their villas which were sold over 2mil hardly read any auction news.

The problem for MBTL and Crystal (landed portion) was developer gave huge rebate like 30-40pc + bla bla bla package after they inflated the pricing which draw many investors wrongly put their foot in as the true and actual market value being made confuse. When come to big discount from developer, buyer need fully assess the actual mkt value with the nett pricing before being too attracted with the package. Not easy but part of the things that need to learn in prop inv.
