The worst case scenario is owner owes since VP.

You won't be staying at this place. You could rent out to foreign students for a great yield even at lower than market rate.

Korean school students are mostly Korean expatriates children. For Korean school to be sustainable, there is a need of a large Korean community in the vicinity unless receive grants from Korean government.

Most expats accommodation are paid by their company and most choose to stay near their office or community.

Price dropped basically unaffordable at the first place and followed by over supply. If price is low enough people will buy. with many more vp in cbj in next 2 years, price is expected to drop further.

mbtl is a indicator what is to come for other cbj developments.
