Sorry to hear about your experience with this Fah Jie.  She is not fit to be a confinement lady.  I guess she is only doing it for the money and not for the professionalism that this job requires.  Another thing, I think the introducer Kuan Jie is also not a very honest person. Imagine, my husband complaint many many times to her about Fah Jie.  She should send out the news about this lady's problems and I'm sure the Confinement people's community is able to catch the news about it and get her blacklisted.

Btw Engtat, my slow cooker is cracked.  We only realised it after this Fah Jie left.  Damn her really!

She was my friend's (in SS2, PJ) confinement lady very recently. My friend is very satisfied with her and rewarded her with an RM600 angpao. But that was out of their own intention to reward her with such a big angpao, the confinement lady did not ask for such a big angpao.

I like my confinement lady she is in her late 50's . very modern ,like most Malaysian she speak in english , mandarin and cantonese .
She charge Rm 3500 plus RM 300 ang pow for 30days . My baby not feeling well on the last few days before she left and she stay extra 2 days without extra charge n ask me call her any time if I have any problem .

She actually email me a list of what her service which include in this 30 days .So I know what to expect.  I find it very useful especially is my first time and I have some idea what she gonna help me with as I heard it frm my friend all CL dont include alot of things , and they only found out whn they are hire which is too late . Is impossible u can find a replacement immediately . With all the disappointed n frustrated yet still have  no choice and have to face her for a month .

I am alone at home with my new born baby most of the time and husband only back home after 7pm . I am so worried at the beginning but Im blessed she really help me alot yet comfort me and give me advice as I felt useless and i just get emo for nothing sometimes .
Like most women we gossip and chat and that help alot on killing time . She hv a good sense of humor. she always force me to sleep early  said is bad for health if I stay up late ,will regret whn I get older .

I have 5 meal a day plus herbal soup
Morning : noodle (mee suah / k.teoh soup/ wine chicken with mee hoon etc
Snack( 2 times a day) : red bean soup , biscuits , milo , black sesame soup, ginger tea , fruits and some other tong sui )
Lunch : 2 dish 1 soup and rice I opp for brown rice
Evening : 3 dish 1 soup and brown rice
Red date and rice water everyday
She will check with me what i feel like having one day before . She will gv me at least 2 option to choose .

For my Baby
She bath her 1 once a day and wipe her before bed time and she assist me on breastfeeding during nite time
Massage baby everyday after bath and I think she love it

House keeping
she only clean Master room, toilet and kitchen but I did saw her sweep my living hall floor
(I have a part time maid who come once a week )
She sleep with me in master room as baby wake up 2 to 3 times every nite sometimes 4

Laundry
hand wash baby clothes and nappy
Me and My husband clothes : washing machine

RM3,500 is for day + night or day only? If day only is super expensive leh....Market price is around RM2,000-RM2,400. Don't spoil the market leh...
