SO any new updates from Logitech speakers? So how's the Z5500 now? any good reviews? price drop or something?

The price of z5500 should drop as the price in US is very low, around 200 to 250 USD.

But dunno when will malaysian dealers lower their price as when can they clear their old stocks.

If the control of Z680 is anything similar to Z5500 that i'm using, try to check ur Surround level, that's the adjustment for u to change the volume level of the rear channels..

if u r sitting slightly closer to ur three front channels, probably u would wanna up ur rear channels a little so that u get the surround feel (well, almost.. ideally u should be at the center of all five satelites).

how many year liau? if within two year and beyond repair, they exchange de woofer with another unit ON THE SPOT ... . call them and bring the unit to MCL ... i got my one to one replacement last year ..

hi, may i know what is the price of the z680 now?? Read that quite few unit mentioned here died..is there any built quality issue here?

How's it actually sound? I am using s750 with ddts, if the z680 price less than 1k, i might want to try it out. look like a bargain...

The price would be around RM9xx. I'm not sure how the other units died on them, but for me, so far so good! *finger crossed*

any more hissing sound for the newer batch?

There is, but not noticeable from sitting position unless you put your ear against the speaker. Earlier batch is noticable even from far.

z680 or megaworks have better sound quality beside features?

id bet the mgworks has the better sound, but hey, thats just me

I'd go for the Megaworks anytime over Z-680.
