hi weijie,

i think for the 3528 cannot close to 10,000k.

Need to use another type LED 5050 which has 3 times more light output (~360 lumens) compared to the 3528 (Power = 7.2W/meter) so it has more lumens per wattage compared to the 3528 (~120 lumens).

The 5050 Looks like this and price also around RM15/meter extra from the previous 3528.

picture (for 5050 epoxy + rubber tubing = IP68)
user posted image
ie. IP68 rated 5050 (1 meter) white (high brightness) = RM60/-

1 meter strip contains 30 pieces of this 5050 LEDs. Also do note that this is a special range with Higher brightness which should give you the 10,000k.

[SIZE=7]Dear all,

I am not using ordinary LED strip. icon_rolleyes.gif This is more advanced than you can find at
ordinary place. Been using it for one year after this new LED chip is introduce.
too bad it is only 5000k temperature rclxub.gif , done some studies that most plants need
6500k for optimum growth. My plants might even grow nicer if it would be 6500k.

it is not specially designed for hobby hehe duh. Ive done some DIY
to suit my planted tank haha. rclxm9.gif cost me not more than RM200 until now still so bright.
compare to last time a, 5 months change one time t5 high output RM48 x 2 so chiat lat
zzzz

Ciohbu: good! Pls get it ASAP. How much is the solenoid for steel tank?

Don't buy this mini puffer. You will have problem after your tank run out of snail. They will look after your fish.

but min size for aro awith planted tank must be at least 3.5' x2' x2'... for Gold and HB...

if you plan to have RED... the min size would have to be at least 4' x2' x2'...as Red is much bigger than other...

At first I thought wanted to make a 3 feet reef tank.
But my gf say"no!" sad.gif due to budget prob
So now, do a 3feet planted tank, maybe start with 1.5grade red Aro first. Then slowly switch to highback or crossback. Lol

Thanks for your information. I got brief idea how to do d. And more important, I know who to find if face any prob tongue.gif

ur tank is 2ft eh?
hmm.gif
try to put only 1 mini puffer enough.... wait to see whether ur "siput" gone or not?
usually mini puffer only be fed by snails & worms.... therefore they won't nip ur tetra or shrimps while the source of food is there..

good luck!
