the tips is,

water cold cold , 25-28 degree
light strong strong
co2 level at 30ppm , use drop checker
fertilizer more more , ( use step 2 , brighty k , green gain , eca , python git , full range of ADA fert instead of using all in one fert)

i can sure it will grow fast and fresh !!

why my yamoto shrimp look like cooked shrimp then DIE...
the colour change to solid white then die instead of their clear colour.

haha... curaptz, i think your yamato die because of your co2 injection too much... i have encounter that before too...

we go ffrom KLANG to OUG! but close!! aiyooo!!
then go NA...my fren sapu RM125 on various species of tetras and plants!!!

i wanted to bring him to fins and green coz i wanna grab his skyblue tetra! walao...go so far but close.... damn sad...

u forgotten 1 thing,algae can struck easily..

my water is 26~28
light is strong,today just notice algae pearling but till now non of my HC pearl
alot hair algae too..
using all seachem fert..

I still cant get everything in balance yet on the fert.

using NPK,flourish,excel & trace

lol.... throw away seachem fert... their item non reliable... only EXCEL is good , other than that... they help algae more than plant... ( SERIOUSLY )

Hair ALgae, just put in SAE , drop Phynton Git , 1 drop for every 20liter... black out 3 days... 100% gone

about fins and green closed , i think because of mother's day.. next time go NA easy... nearer to klang... plus the shop have full range of item you need for aquascaping... and their boss is much better IMHO !!

today survey Eheim 2217 canister filter at 88....
it cost RM650.... wow...
so expensive leh...

i know...but is just the skyblue tetra..i dont see it in NA....
is not bcoz of mother's day kua...got notice there closing for 2 days. i not sure, coz dont really read it.

me and kyrielsen use E-JET brand. or isit just JET brand. rm130 - rm199 for various models



hc require low temp. but some people no prob growing at 26 -27'c

powderful light + delicious co2 + chilling ice cool water.

mine 2feet tank with 110 watts 2bps co2 and 21 - 24'c water temp!

grow deliciously!

E-JET filter can use but is it come with warranty? where do u buy?

i use ejet filter for my 45cm tank. ejet 3368.
maybe i will use ejet 3388 for my 3 feet tank.
the important thing is, filter media right?

how was the filter performance? good?

You can't compare mic brand with EHEIM Because they are so much diff in price and quality
IMHO, budget wise go for MIC.
If you want long term then EHEIM.
I m using 2 EHEIM in my sleeping room. But they nevEr generate any noise even at midnight
try get second hand eheim if you found trusted seller.
There is one second hand aquarium equipment dealer in LYN street mart pet shop but I not stastisfy with his service ><

no warranty. they test infront of u. it rattles then its good for sale. hahahah

clean filter, change water, monitor temp / light / fert / co2 balance. it took me months to get the balance right lar. hard to tell you how. must experience urself 1. need to FEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEL it!

noise wise. my E-JET also silent. so silent you dont know whether its on or not!

the only problem i think i have is power. been using for over a year and a half. power flow looks like it decrease about 15%
